Legal camping spots include county parks (Spencer, Punaluʻu, Ho‘okena), Volcanoes National Park (permit required), and vetted private sites via Hipcamp. Off-grid 4WD-friendly options available for experienced campers. No overnight camping at Mauna Kea, Green Sand Beach, Pololū, or roadside pull-offs. Full list and local tips provided upon booking.
