Perfect for single or couple cruising around Maui-- 2 people MAX.Hana, Haleakala Are OK. These small vans are the size of a car which makes them SO ideal for exploring Maui.. Roads are small here, parking lots small-- Don't Stress! enjoy the van life in tiny RV camper loaded and read for adventure.. this may not have the charm of my other vintage VWs, but if you want comfort and ease, and to be able to go up to Haleakala, then this is the Campervan for you.

-Free insta hot water boiling kettle (perfect to make coffee and tea)Arriving - Easy Free Airport Pickup AND Dropoff -Once you arrive at the Kahului Airport (OGG), we will meet you right across the street from baggage claim in the parking lot. Maui airport is pretty small so it will be a 3 minute walk to you get to the campervan. From there, we will go over the campervan with you and teach you how to use it as well as noting any previous damage prior to you taking off. We'll then sign some paperwork and you're off. This process will take around 15-30 minutes.We try to be flexible with pickup and drop-off times, and most commonly, renters drop the Campervan at the airport at a time that works for their departing flight.. Drop-off instructions provided at Check in.Some things to note since you are renting out a vehicle:
- All drivers must be 25 years of age or older.
- All drivers will need to sign our Standard Vehicle Rental Agreement.
- We will need a copy of driver'(s) licenses for every driver.
- If you come from outside the US, then we will need a copy of all passports for every driver.
- We include pretty much everything you need to campervan in Maui but do offer some extra items you might be interested in renting.

- Extra camp chairThe great thing about renting a campervan is exploring the beauty of Maui in the Golden light hours without having to drive all the way back to your hotel even night. Maui Westy campers are allowed the drive the Road the Hana, including the ‘backside’ road. Please Note- ALL Damages Incurred ON THE Back Road TO Hana ARE Your Responsibility. AS Well AS Flat Tires Caused BY Hitting Road Hazards AND Irresponsible Driving / AND OR Driving IN Sand ETC.This Campervan IS allowed up Crater Road / Waipoli Road.You Cannot just camp anywhere you like here on Maui!! Please respect private property. There are private areas to camp on Maui, and yes some are off the beaten path.

Final rental charges are due 2 weeks prior to pickup of Camper Van. Payments must be paid in U.S. Dollars by Cash, Cashier's Check, Travelers Check or Credit Card. Sorry, we don’t accept personal checks.Terms and ConditionsTravel Area Restrictions: We do NOT allow our VW Campers to be driven up to Haleakala National Park. Crater Road is way too steep for these little engines. Same applies for PoliPoli Springs, Waipoli road, and going up Haleakala hwy. Driving on unpaved areas is not allowed. Renter is liable for all damages and towing charges incurred due to operating in unfavorable conditions. This includes tire damage.
YOU WILL LOSE ENTIRE DEPOSIT FOR DRIVING OFF ROAD AND IN MY RESTRICTED AREAS!Cancellation Policy:
Full refund 30 or more days from departure minus a $200 processing fee. Between 30 and 14 days of departure date, 50% of payments will be refunded. No refunds if cancelling within 14 days of departure date.
Our modest cancellation policy keeps RVs from being blocked out just in case someone needs them and then cancels if they don’t. This keeps the reservation schedule valid and fair for all our customers. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we highly recommend purchasing trip insurance which will reimburse you 100% of your trip should you not be able to travel due to COVID-19.Security Deposit: A refundable deposit is collected at time of booking or just a few days before pickup. This also serves as a damage deposit and is separate from the rental fees. Any damages during your trip will be deducted from your deposit. Damages include—interior to van, broken equipment which I’ve provided, sidewall tire & Rim damage, scratches $ dents to exterior of the van. Sidewall tire blowouts and damage/ flats from rough roads are your responsibility and will come out of the security deposit.
-—MECHANICAL PROBLEMS Our vehicles are fully serviced and cared for. Mechanicals are continually checked, renewed, and maintained by our in-house VW technicians, so problems are not common. However, they do sometimes occur and we want to be clear about our policies prior to booking.Should you have a problem en-route, we are the first call you should make after making sure you are in a safe place. Hopefully the problem can be sorted and you will be on your way without too much inconvenience. Many times a simple fix is all that is required and you are back on your way after a phone call
We may refund a day's rental fee if the fix takes more than 12 hours.
If the problem is more serious, we have two choices:
1. We will get you to the nearest safe location where you can relax, and if another of our vehicles is available we will deliver the van and swap vehicles for you in the shortest possible time. The replacement vehicle may or may not be exactly the same as the one you started with. If you prefer to rent another vehicle locally, we will refund the balance of the rental period. We are not responsible for any accommodation expenses.
2. in case of breakdown just due to mechanical failure, and a proper replacement is not available, or it would require an excessive amount of time, we will assist you in getting to where you may arrange alternate transport, and wish you a safe onward journey. We will either refund any monies we've collected for the outstanding rental period, or offer a credit for an equivalent rental period at a future date of your choosing.
We want our policy to be fair and we ask you to consider before you book that this is a possibility. But if it happens, kick back and chill out. We have every confidence we can sort things out.
If you have any difficulties report these immediately to Maui Westy Campers. If you have an accident (or breakdown) you are responsible for your accommodation expenses. Maui Westy Campers liability extends to either replacing your vehicle with a similar one or refund. If vehicle is damaged in an accident due to your fault, or you experience a breakdown to negligence, no refunds and loss of security deposit occurs. (this includes ignoring warning lights and or not reporting any symptoms ahead of time, and just pushing the vehicle until it breaks)
If you experience a breakdown due to lack of exercising ordinary care while in possession of the vehicle then your trip will end without reimbursement for rental days lost and the primary driver can be responsible for towing, repair of damages incurred, and in addition, their security deposit will be forfeited. (Ordinary care includes immediately turning off the engine if any red blinking lights are present or the buzzer alarm is sounding off,, i.e.,proper fuel (92 octane) ; proper gear selection; not overheating the engine; not driving more than the recommended 100 miles per day and the like - PLEASE INQUIRE IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.)
