We hope you treat our "home away from home" with the same love you would your own home! We have carefully crafted the description and pictures so that you know exactly what you will be renting! We love our RV (Pongo is its name) and we hope you too! I am one to think there are no rules on vacation, but we do have a few items for you to respectfully follow! NO SMOKING inside the RV. Most campgrounds have a picnic table and we have one stored in a compartment for you to use. Please smoke OUTSIDE the RV. Many have strong sensitivities to the smell of smoke and we hope to make sure everyone feels welcome. There will be fees assessed to the deposit in order to deep clean the RV based on smoke smells/damage. PETS ARE ALLOWED, however there are additional pet deposits to accommodate your furry family member! This deposit will cover for any additional damages that a pet could possibly make... screens scratched, chewing walls (yes, I have seen it), destroyed pillows/furniture. If you are traveling with a pet, I highly recommend you purchase the "Damage Protection" option. Your standard insurance covers damages outside the vehicle, but the damage protection provides you reimbursement for the mishaps that could happen inside. It is only $69 for your trip and will reimburse you up to $1500. KIDS ARE ALLOWED and of course encouraged! Our family had an amazing adventure going to 14 National Parks... trip of a lifetime! We now can't wait for our next long trip Summer 2022! As will your pets, kids can be a little rough on things... I recommend you purchasing the "Damage Protection" to accommodate any mishaps! FESTIVALS/BOONDOCKING ALLOWED! So many owners prohibit RV's to be used for Festivals (especially Burning Man), as well as Boondocking. From our experience that is due to a few renters destroying RV's, which concerns other RV Owners. As always, the actions of the few "ruin" things for everyone! We are all for you enjoying a festival or finding that perfect secluded spot or farm to boondock on, but you must let us know! We will add on an additional $500 deposit to ensure we are covered for any additional damages that could be incurred. You enjoy your time and we both have peace of mind that we are both covered in case of any random damage occurs! If you do not let us know prior to your trip, there will be a $200 fee deducted from your deposit, in addition to $$ to cover damages incurred. DO NOT WALK/SIT ON THE ROOF! The roof of RV's is not meant to walk on except for emergency and specific maintenance purposes. Why there is an easy access ladder, RV owners will never know! Please, for your personal safety and to ensure no damages to the RV, stay off the roof of the RV.
