Offers convenient setup and assistance
Mike (and Kayla) consistently receive praise for excellent communication, flexible pickup/drop-off, and actively assisting with setup, including hitching. Reviewers highlight their friendly and helpful nature. One instance of contact challenge during drop-off was noted.
Lightweight and easy to tow
The 2021 Heartland Mallard Pathfinder P16SRD is clean and well-stocked, often described as a "hook and go" setup. It's suited for 2 people, or 2 adults with small children, due to limited storage. Metal dishes prevent microwave use, and one review noted it as 'worn and tired'.

5.0It was easy pick up and drop off, the camper was well stocked with cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies. I would recommend bringing your own kitchen towels, maybe a sharp knife for cooking, and a larger pans if you have more than one or two people to cook for. I would definitely recommend renting this camper

4.0Easy tow, Mike assisted with the hook up which was fairly quick and easy. Be aware if you want to microwave something, all the supplied dishes are metal. Also know this is definitely a 2 person camper with very limited storage space for your luggage and food. Maybe put a shelf in the pantry cupboard for guest use.

Domande frequenti
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Towable RV campers can be tricky to tow due to the weight and height of the trailer. Any strong winds or drafts from semi-trailers can cause the trailer to sway. As a renter make sure your vehicle is capable of towing a 4,000 lb trailer and that you understand how to get a trailer from a continues sway that can result in loss of control. There are YouTube videos that show the effects wind can have on a camper.
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Copy this link into search engine for a video on our camper https://youtu.be/PN6vn73hF94?si=cDgK2GiTzOtSTImC This video will show you how to hook up at campground.
Q.
Will there be water in the fresh water tank and electric or only solar?
A.
If you need the fresh water tank filled, you will need to tell the host. We don't automatically fill it because it is 46 gallons and will add 460lbs to the camper, which in turn adds to fuel usage. Some campsite have fresh water available. Camper comes with 3 electrical plug adapters for 50amp, 30amp, and 120volt along with a 25' 8 guage cord. Also included is a 25' 14 guage cord. If you need a generator, one can be provided. Solar is for boondocking and will operate everything but AC
Q.
Will the renter need to clean the camper prior to return?
A.
YES, this is not a hotel room. Camper will need to be returned clean. If we need to put considerable time into cleaning the fridge, microwave, cook top, etc. a fee will be charged. You DON'T need to wash bedding or towels. Throw all used towels in the shower for the host to wash. Host also assumes that all bedding is used and will wash all of it.
