Our newer Jayco Melbourne 24 K features two slideouts (dining/living and bedroom areas.) The kitchen boasts a microwave/convection oven combination, two burner cook top, refrigerator with separate freezer and gobs of storage. The dining table makes into a comfy couch with oodles of pillows. The captains chairs in the cab swivel to allow for great conversations over drinks, appetizers and dinner. The over cab area has a second queen bed and features a wide screen HD TV that has both cable and air channel capabilities. The master bedroom has a walk-around bed with even more storage. The bathroom is equipped with a roomy shower and toilet. There are two TVs, one in the living area and one in the bedroom for you viewing pleasure. Just connect to cable and you're good to go, or use the built-in antenna to receive over-the-air signals. Outside, a retractable awning with LED lights will protect you from those hot afternoon suns. Large capacity fresh, gray and black water tanks provide additional peace of mind, as does a generous hot water tank. Air conditioning and central heating systems ensure your year-round comfort.Located in the Iowa/Nebraska/South Dakota tri-state area, we are conveniently located for exciting vacations in such venues as Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Sturgis, University of Nebraska football, the Bridges of Madison County and the Field of Dreams.Be sure to check out the Add On section of this listing for other items to enhance your camping experience.“Dry Camping” is hard on motor coaches and is not recommended. We do, however, allow Dry Camping on a case by case basis but do not encourage it. Do you allow Dry Camping?
A.
Dry Camping is not allowed without prior approval; an additional deposit is required up to $2,500, collected prior to taking possession of the coach. The dangers of significant damage to the coach must be considered. Some insurance policies do not cover damages that could be inflicted during Dry Camping. Additionally, we only allow Dry Camping one day at a time; so, the day before and the day after the Dry Camping day must be in a Campground with access to electricity, potable water and sewer.
