Hitch up this brand-new, 2021 off-road teardrop style camper from Hailey, Idaho near the airport. Hailey is your jumping off point for all that Sun Valley and the Sawtooths have to offer! With this micro tow-behind teardrop trailer you can get off the beaten path and go where other larger RVs, Sprinters, and larger rigs can not.This family-friendly teardrop sleeps 4: two in the interior of the teardrop, on a queen size bed, and two in a rooftop tent with queen size bed.Alturas Offroad is a new teardrop camper rental and boutique manufacturer for 2021, in the coming weeks we will update our Outdoorsy listings to include add-on amenities such as camping gear, various rack attachments, and other accessories.We know the Wood River Valley area very well and can also provide custom trip routes based on your interests.This camper is light enough to be towed by a standard Subaru. Anything less rugged than a Subaru, please check your vehicle manufacturer details.You'll need 2" hitch receiver on your vehicle to connect to.Feel free to reach out with any questions!

We're happy to schedule a convenient pick up and drop off. If you are experienced and confident with hitching up pull behind trailers contactless pick up is also an option.

I'm Zac and this is the Outdoorsy rental interface for Alturas Off Road, an off-road, teardrop style camper rental and boutique manufacturing company based in Sun Valley, Idaho I started in 2021. The teardrops are partially an homage to ski film pioneer Warren Miller, who used to spend his winters living in a teardrop camper in Sun Valley's parking lot, but primarily they offer the perfect balance of comfort and getting off the beaten path. I live in Sun Valley with my wife and son and we spend our time enjoying everything the mountains here, and in our former home (Teton Valley), have to offer. I'm happy to offer custom advice for mountain biking, gravel biking, hiking, skiing, etc based on your skill level and the time you have in the area.
