4We picked up the RV immediately after the people that left a poor review. I'm not 100% convinced the concerns they noted were not their own doing. Sharon was upfront and honest about the GFR plugs not working prior to our pickup, At pickup, she was taking damage pictures, so I just followed behind and did the same so I could cover myself from liability. Is the RV packed with the owners stuff? Yes, it's in the advertisement to "just bring your clothes"! It's one of the reasons we chose this listing. We picked up the day prior to our departure, and paid for the extra day, so we could remove their items we knew we weren't going to use and not worry about her things getting ruined, and have enough room for our things. The bedroom and wardrobe lights flashing was probably the worst part of the whole experience, but given the electrical issues, I'm confident the owner will have them fixed since she forewarned me how the RV was returned from the previous renter. The walk through was thorough, but as a first time renter, a cheat sheet would have been nice. With that being said, Sharon always responded very quickly to our questions and sent YouTube tutorials for trouble shooting, even offering a mobile mechanic if needed. We survived without needing one :) We went to 4 campgrounds in 10 days, and returned it on the 11th day (which we paid for) so we could clean it and put all the owners things back where we found them. We live by that golden rule, return what you borrowed in a better condition than what you received it, doesn't matter if you paid for the rental! Would I rent this one again? Yes, if I needed room for that many people, absolutely! Our favorite part of trip? Having a place where family could come visit us in the comforts of "our RV". See the picture of my youngest napping :)

2Our recent 12 day RV trip allowed us to explore new places and see the country, which was wonderful. Sharon allowed us to collect the RV we had booked the night before so we could start our journey early the following day which was considerate. However, the RV was disappointing due to numerous issues with its condition, functionality, and safety. While we made the best of our situation, I cannot recommend this particular RV unless the following issues are fully resolved: We encountered problems with the following: Safety Concerns: 1. Structural Integrity: The cupboard above the left seats is coming loose, poses a risk of falling on occupants (see pictures). 2. Electrical Hazards: Multiple non-functioning power points, flickering lights, and system overload with basic appliance use. 3. Water Damage: Detached sink leaks onto the flooring (see pictures), creating a persistent slip hazard. 4. Suspension Issues: Non-functional rear left suspension airbag compromising vehicle stability. 5. Unsecured Fixtures: Drawer opposite fridge opens while driving (see pictures). Fridge contents tumble out after travelling. Purchase expandable curtain rods to secure drawers and fridge contents. 6. Roof Integrity: All roof air vent flaps broken (see picture), risking water ingress and climate control issues. Functionality Problems: 7. Appliance Malfunctions: The generator is faulty and wouldn't start despite our efforts. 8. Maintenance Oversights: • AC filter dirty and disintegrating; cover held up with tape (see pictures). • Microwave was improperly fitted; we had to fix it before departure. • Stovetop cover nearly fell off; we purchased parts and fixed it mid-journey. 9. Missing Essentials: Limited kitchenware (only two coffee mugs and disposable plates). 10. Personal Items: Cupboards filled with the owner's belongings, limiting space for our things. To make the RV usable, we had to: • Purchase expandable curtain rods to secure drawers and fridge contents. • Buy plates and bowls to eat meals. • Clean up water leaks after each sink use. • Make several repairs ourselves (e.g., microwave, stovetop cover, replaced one light, secure roof air vents). The overall condition suggests a lack of maintenance and preparation for rental. Despite our efforts to improve the RV's condition, we lost a $400 security deposit for fixing an electrical outlet cover and removing a sticker, which seems excessive given the fixes we made and the items we purchased. While we cherish the memories of our trip, I would not recommend this particular RV or rental service to others unless there's clear evidence that these issues have been thoroughly addressed. Potential renters should insist on a detailed inspection and confirmation of repairs before booking.
