Michael provides excellent communication, is friendly, understanding, and flexible. He offers thorough walkthroughs, sharing knowledge about the van's history and community.
Easy, reliable driving experience
Barry drives great, is easy to operate, and reliable, even on mountain passes. Well-equipped with sink, stove, pop-up tent, awning, and camping supplies. Offers comfortable space for two, is clean and in great condition.

5.0We had such an amazing time on our little adventure in Barry, it really felt like a trip back in time! The second we started our adventure, it really felt like none of the stress of the outside world existed. It was also so cool to see Barry bringing a smile to the faces of other drivers on the road, and to meet and talk to fellow campers about their vans and ours! We had everything we needed and more, and there was plenty of room for the two of us to hang during the day & each spread out in our own beds at night. It was also super easy to drive, and did great even going up and over the pass (even if we did hand out in the right lane most of the time haha)! Michael was an amazing host, and super understanding & flexible. He even showed us around his adorable town, and certainly made us want to come back. His walkthrough was thorough and it was so cool to learn a little bit about the history of Barry & the Vanagon community. We had such an amazing time, and we'd love to be back again!

5.0Picked up 'Barry' on the Kitsap Pennisula and then continued on to Jarrell Cove where a friend met up with kayaks. Barry drives great and was perfect for this 2 night getaway. Michael was a great host - could not have been more helpful and generous. Barry is a wonderful VW Westie camper. Great condition. Ran great. Pop up was easy.
