Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pick up and drop off times are set for noon, although we are flexible as long as there are not sceduling conflicts. We ask that these times be scheduled in advance and treated as appointments.
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
If your campsite has "full hookups" including electric, water, and sewer, you are able to use every system in the RV for an extended period of time. All hoses, cords, etc are included with the rental. Check out my operational video on how this works. Drivenorthrv.com
Q.
What if my campsite is electric only?
A.
If your campsite only has electric, you can use the potable water system with the Rv's onboard water pump. The fresh water tank holds 52 gallons, so you do have to "ration" your water supply while camping. Showers use the most water, so they may have to be short and limited :) If we don't have water at our site, we tend to use the camp ground showers.
Q.
What kind of vehicle do I need to tow this RV?
A.
Most full size trucks (F-150) and full size SUVs (Suburban/Expedition) will be capable. The dry wgt is 5700lbs, but realistic wgt is likely over 6000lbs with full propane tanks, accessories, and added gear. Consult your owner's manual and door sticker in advance of booking. A mid size SUV (Explorer/Traverse) or truck (Tacoma/Ranger) will not be able to tow this RV.
