Gladys is a Stealthy Land Yacht you can park anywhere you find a standard size parking space. She’s not small but efficient and has plenty of headroom and a luxury queen size bed. Her fully custom, professionally built interior is classy, yet uncluttered featuring a stunning galley with hand-crafted cabinetry. The counter is birch butcher block surrounding an oversized, modern Apron-front farm sink with a commercial style pull-down faucet.Gladys, the Promaster 2500 High Roof has low mileage, gas efficient (av 15 mpg), meticulously maintained and features a gorgeous, low maintenance ceramic coating on the exterior. All cargo windows (3) are one-way privacy windows and all windows (6) have magnetic black out screens for sleeping and privacy.Gladys sports an upgraded suspension, MaxAir roof fan, 350w solar panel and two modern all purpose EcoFlow Lithium batteries that combine the 12V system with the 120V system to power everything onboard and recharge off the 350w solar panel during daylight hours.Her queen size bed (Ease frame) easily turns into a couch for reading or watching a video — raise your head or feet with the touch of the remote control! The Nectar 12” memory foam mattress is more comfy than my bed at home. Hypoallergenic pillows, blankets and dish towels are included and fresh, luxury bed sheets and bath towels are an add-on.The galley includes custom utility drawers, a large cutting board and toaster roasting oven. For outdoors, a Jetboil stove and Skottle grill are also available. The sink is large enough to wash your hair in and there is a 2.5 gallon hot water heater under the sink. The Frig/Freezer is a Dometic 75 CFX (doubles as a table or chair) and is on a slide out from under the bed frame. The toilet is a portable unit, easily stowed under the bed as well.The large slideout door (with window) has BugWall netting installed to keep the bugs out — it’s magnetic open/close so very easy in/out.Plenty of storage in cabinets by and over one side of the bed and also under the bed.The 30 gallon water tank is double filtered and there is a 20 gallon gray water tank underneath the van.The van is Black however she’s fully insulated and with the Max Air fan running and blackout screens on, she stays cool inside. The van’s AC will also cool down the interior quickly as well.Build in USB plugs and 120V outlets conveniently located.Passenger seat swivels to face the interior of the van.Gladys is the perfect Glamping vehicle for National Parks or getting from place to place. Most Florida campgrounds insist on vans being Titled and Registered AS Class B, which she is. She does not have an enclosed bathroom or shower (one reason for her Extra space, Zero smell and competitive rate). She does have a High End Dometic push-button, flushing cassette toilet that stealth stows underneath the bed and is portable. The bottom cassette is easily emptied in any toilet. Then there’s the awesome farm sink … you can almost take a bath in the sink (I wash my hair in the sink and sponge bath for those travel days in between a campground or other locations with shower facilities, LOL)I would prefer you contact me (text is best) with any questions, at any time, other than waste any of your vacation time figuring things out with the van or any interior systems. What is a Skottle?

Pronounced "skaw-til", the Skottle it is a South African outdoor cooking solution. Originally popularized in Africa, the large wok-like disc was traditionally used directly over a fire. Anything that can be cooked in a pan, skillet or on a grill can be cooked in a Skottle.

Where is the gas tank?
A.
On a Promaster, the gas tank and stealth cover is located right behind the drivers side door about hip high - likes regular, good quality octane gas.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pick up and drop off are totally flexible and your preferable times can usually be arranged as I work nearby. I will always meet you for pick up to properly introduce you to Gladys. I am also happy to pick you up at the airport.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric: Grab the orange extension cord in the back door and the simple, 120v hook-up is underneath the bumper in the back corner of the van (driver side). Please make sure to replace the rubber cover after you unplug the power. Water: Grab the white water hose and portable filter from the back door. Connect the filter to the hose and the hose to the tank fill inside the rear door (passenger side). Gray Tank: Grab the sewage adapter and connect underneath the van

I am a Boat Captain by trade so I live and work outdoors. I love my Promaster Stealth Land Yacht but I am currently traveling by water! I really want others to have the opportunity to enjoy Gladys (the van is named after Gladys West) and the beautiful coastal areas of Florida. Gladys West was influential in the invention of the GPS and since adventure and exploration is key to this van — the name fit!
