2020 Sunseeker express Camper

This was our second time renting this RV. Due to being invited to two weddings that were a little farther from home. The first time we had a fabulous time everything was great so we decided to rent it for the second wedding. When we went to pick up the RV, we were told the awning was broken and we couldn’t use it. It wasn’t that big of a deal even though we enjoyed the awning the last time. We went to the venue we set up. Had a great Friday night. Saturday was the wedding day we all decided to start getting ready and none of the outlets would work. We couldn’t do hairdryers curler irons. Nothing to get ready again not a big deal. We let our hair air dry and went to the wedding. Had a great time. Came back late that night. Nothing was working no electrical no refrigerator no water no bathroom no heat, nothing. seen it was so late at night. We all bundled up and went to bed. Woke up the next morning Trying to figure out why nothing was working. We were going back-and-forth with the host. She was trying to help us figure it out. she said she would send somebody out and told us she would refund us a full day of rental. we still have not received that refund. The host told us where the battery was thankfully, we were able to jump it and be able to get the slides in and we return the RV. We still had a great weekend. We were just a little disappointed and inconvenienced..

The rental was average. I have not rented a lot of RVs so I don’t have a lot to base my opinion on. Some of the lows were that the RV shook pretty bad at above 50 mph and the owner was aware of it and did not fix it before the rental. Some of the tires were visibly low, more than 20psi which felt a bit unsafe after I had a chance to look at them. The inside of the RV had a strong ammonia smell, maybe from cleaning but uncomfortable to spend time inside of it until I had a chance to air it out. Lastly, there was a lot of dirty and grime in several spots of the RV. Nothing that can’t be fixed but I wish it was a bit cleaner and more sound mechanically.

Excellent RV to rent. Took it from into Maine for the weekend. Very comfortable to drive and spend time in. The owners were professional; they walked me through how to operate everything until I had no further questions. Very polite. RV was clean, they even pre-chilled the fridge for us so our food would stay cool on the 5 hour trip. Very spacious, way better than renting or driving into the city for a hotel. It was perfect for our weekend. I would rent from the owners again. Many thanks!

I am absolutely dissatisfied with this camper and cannot recommend it at all. The generator does not work reliably, which is a major problem, especially when relying on self-sufficient power supply. The air conditioning only runs with a continuous power supply, which is completely unacceptable for a camper. Additionally, the camper was extremely dirty – there were dog hairs everywhere and it smelled strongly of animals, which was very unpleasant. The solar system is completely inadequate for the size of the camper and cannot meet the energy needs at all. Particularly annoying was the lack of any operating manuals. Without these, it is almost impossible to operate the various devices and systems correctly, especially since the landlord is not always available in a timely manner. Overall, this camper was a complete disappointment.

We made some fantastic memories on our trip to Canada. Any small issue or questions we had the responses were quick. We would definitely rent again.
