5.0We are so grateful that the owner makes this vehicle available for those who have special needs! My wife has Alzheimer's and we can no longer fly. Her parent live 2500 miles away and they can't travel anymore. Thanks to this owner and his team, and help from my family, we were able to get my wife and her parents together. The RV is ideal for someone with limited mobility! A large wheel chair lift, open space for wheel chair mobility, a large shower, bed heights suitable for wheelchair transfer, it was awesome! The owner and his team were very helpful, responsive and accommodating! Thank you so much!

Is there a shower chair avilable?

Yes - If needed, we will provide a shower chair. Please request that we send you a picture of it so that you can make sure that it is good for you.

Are there two entrances to the motorhome?
A.
Yes. There is the regular entrance which is a standard motorhome door with stairs leading up into the motorhome -and- a separate wide door where the wheelchair lift can lift the wheelchair user into the motorhome. Both have locks on them - you. will receive the keys to them of course!

Does the RV have a Wheelchair Lift?
A.
Yes - The RV has a Braun UVL Lift of this kind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eU29wF2PRqY After opening the large lift door, there is a wired remote control that opens, retracts, raises and lowers the lift. It can is easily operated. It has a maximum weight capacity of up to 500 lbs (226 kg).

Are there driving hand controls installed in the motorhome?
A.
There are no hand controls installed in the motorhome. If you need hand controls to drive, you can install portable hand controls as long they are in congruence with your drivers license and safety requirements.
