Towing Requirements For safety and insurance purposes, the tow vehicle must have a manufacturer-rated towing capacity of at least 7,000 lbs. Any vehicle with a towing capacity of less than 16,000 lbs must use a properly installed and adjusted weight distribution hitch while towing this RV. The renter is responsible for ensuring their tow vehicle meets these requirements and may be required to provide vehicle details prior to pickup. The owner reserves the right to verify towing capacity and towing equipment before releasing the RV. Failure to meet these towing requirements, provide accurate vehicle information, or arrive without a required weight distribution hitch will result in immediate cancellation of the rental. In the event of cancellation due to non-compliance with these requirements, the following cancellation policy will apply: • More than 30 days before pickup: 100% refund of the nightly rental amount, less the Outdoorsy Service Fee. • 8–30 days before pickup: Renter is responsible for 50% of the nightly rental amount for the remaining rental days, plus applicable Outdoorsy fees. • 7 days or fewer before pickup: Renter is responsible for 100% of the nightly rental amount, plus the Outdoorsy Service Fee. No exceptions will be made for failure to meet the stated towing requirements.
