Our Winnebago View is the perfect combination of compact size and roomy interior. It's super easy to drive and nimble enough to navigate even the tightest city streets, yet has a large slide-out and tall ceilings that makes the coach so much more spacious than you would expect from a 24 ft motorhome.Has seat belts for 5 passengers, but sleeps 6 comfortably with a dedicated queen bed in back with privacy curtains, an ultra leather sofa bed that pulls-out into a full bed, and another dedicated full bed over the cab with privacy curtains. The ultra leather passenger and driver seats swivel to become part of the coach, and removable tables turn both the sofa and cabin chairs into dining areas.Power stairs automatically extend when the coach door is opened, microwave doubles as a convection oven, coach windows have both sun shades and black-out shades, and cabin windows also have integrated privacy shades. Large fridge/freezer that runs on either electricity or propane, roomy shower with skylight, and a porcelain toilet. A large skylight in the coach let's in lots of light and can be opened for added ventilation.Loaded with factory options including a 3200W quiet diesel generator controlled from the coach that does not need separate fuel, A/C with heat pump to save propane on chilly nights, Alcoa forged aluminum wheels, full-size powered awning, MaxxFan remote controlled exhaust fan with thermostat, and an in-dash stereo with Sirius satellite, DVD, and backup camera with audio.Additional upgrades include a 32" LED TV in front of the coach mounted on a fully articulating arm, a 19" LED TV in the rear bedroom, and a battery monitor so you always know how much power is available. The RV is also equipped with a roof-mounted 400W solar system for extended stays off-grid. Coach batteries have been upgraded to Trojan deep-cycle with extended capacity, and a 3000W hybrid inverter powers all of your equipment (including A/C) from battery. What makes this setup unique is that you can operate the coach A/C while you're driving, and you can run the microwave for snacks or quick meals on the road, all without having to run the generator!The Mercedes Benz chassis is equipped with a BlueTec turbo diesel engine that provides lots of power, is super quiet, and easily gets double the gas mileage (12-17 mpg) of a comparable gas guzzling Ford/Chevy chassis (6-8 mpg)! And the engine doesn't protrude into the cabin like those other chassis, making the Mercedes cabin quiet, roomy, and easy to move around in.Kits:

We are dad and mom of three boys, 21, 16 and 12. We love living in the Salt Lake Valley, and don't take for granted the fact that we live smack- dab in the middle of National Parks Country! With more than a dozen National Parks within a day's drive, not to mention the numerous State Parks, National Forests and other recreational areas along the way, we are never at a loss for a new adventure. We love to road-trip and live by the Mantra that the journey is half the fun. We have absolutely loved the freedom (and sometimes felt a bit guilty about the comfort ;-) that our Winnie has provided us. Life is busy these days with the new "suburban farm" and renovation project that we have taken on and opportunities to get away are not as numerous as they once were, so we are thrilled with the opportunity to share our beloved "Winnie" with fellow intrepid travelers.
