12v 63qt arb fridge/freezerConverted by the legendary van outfitters Sportsmobile, this 2016 Ram Promaster van offers ample space with standing headroom for anyone up to 6’ 2’’ tall. Wide enough to sleep sideways in the rear on one of the bunk beds for anyone under 6’ tall. The middle big bed sleeps 2 comfortably with room to accommodate anyone under 6’2’’ tall. When not in bed mode it folds up to seat 3 passengers with 2 lap belts and 1 three point seat belt. You can easily carry 5 passengers and all your gear with a cavernous cabinet/closet and large stow space under the bottom bunk bed. Not to mention two medium size spaces easily accessible under the big bed in the middle.
The van is wired with solar for those that want to truly go “off grid” with a 100 watt solar panel and 100 amp hour agm battery that can be charged by the sun and the van’s alternator while running. This allows for the van to have recessed ceiling lights, adjustable reading lights, and 6 USB charging ports conveniently located near each sleeping location.
This isn't your normal Ram Promaster this is equipped with the 3.0 liter Ecodiesel engine mated to a six-speed automated manual transmission allowing the van to average 24mpg (10.2 kpl). The van is 19.5 feet long ensuring that you will be able to camp at almost any state or federal campground in America. There is nothing worse than leaving early to get that sweet walk in only camp spot at your favorite campground and be to long to fit in the parking area. This also lends to cost savings not only at campgrounds but also if you need to jump on the ferry. In general this van’s size makes it easy for anyone to jump in the driver’s seat and navigate down the open highways, winding roads, and even in the city if you want to stealth camp.
