My wife and I are both transplants from the east coast that now live in Salt Lake City. We moved here to be close to the outdoors and have the ability to recreate and enjoy them every day of the year. We ski at Alta in the winter months, mountain bike anywhere there's a trail, hike to peaks with either ski's in the winter or on our feet in the summer where a mountain bike can't take us, we'll fly fish at camp, or go backpacking into wilderness areas that are free from any form of mechanized travel. We just love being outside, there's not much to it. The one thing we realized during a lot of our active travels was with the independence of visiting locations also became the reliance of what the area had to offer in regards to food, lodging, and where to put our dog when we were out recreating. Along came the truck camper. We were now able to prepare our own meals (we love to cook), having a bed wherever we decided to stop (a room with an excellent view), and a pet-friendly home.2016 RAM 2500 - Keeps you and your party safe to your destinations. With all modern amenities, you'll be in a big truck but feel like your driving your regular car, albeit quite a bit bigger!Truck Camper - This is a true four-season camper fully insulated and sealed from the elements. It features a queen-size bed, a fold over couch bed, a wet bath (shower and toilet in one unit), outdoor shower, 4 cubic ft. fridge & freezer, 16,000 BTU furnace, 11,000 BTU air conditioner, two-way burner cook top, 4 gallon hot water heater, kitchen sink, a dinette area with couch, LED lighting, a 270-degree view outside, and the ability to take your home wherever on and off the grid. The Fridge, furnace, and hot water heater run off of a 20lb propane tank. All lighting, fans, and water pump run off the two deep cell batteries attached to the camper. Any outlets to plug electronics in or use of the air conditioner require the camper be plugged into shore power or the use of a generator. The camper is great for two adults and will work for three but it is a squeeze.Camper Extras
