Nicolai was highly responsive, helpful, and clear in communication. He provided thorough, meticulous walkthroughs for vehicle features and operation, instilling confidence, and was flexible with pickup/return.
Easy to Drive and Park
The Katusha is clean, well-maintained, and very easy to drive and park, even on winding roads. It's fully stocked with kitchenware, bedding, and toiletries. Comfortable for up to four, with solar for off-grid power and good fuel efficiency (16 MPG).

He was also very meticulous during the walkthroughs, both when handing over the camper and upon our return, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Highly recommend renting from him!

5.0Nicolai’s RV was awesome! The RV was super clean, came with all the necessities, and was perfectly comfortable for my wife and me. As first timers, he gave us a great walkthrough of the vehicle. We dry-camped with it for a couple days and the solar provided ample charge for the fridge and lighting. Would definitely rent again.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Pick-up and drop-off times can be flexible based on both your and my availability. Typically, we aim for pick-up in the morning or afternoon and request that the return is made before 6 PM. However, we can agree on specific times in advance and confirm them in writing prior to your trip.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The RV drives like a regular car, so no special driver’s license is required. However, it's important to drive slowly on curvy roads and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead to ensure smooth handling and safety.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
When setting up at a campground, the RV operates off the battery if it's not connected to shore power. Please note that there is no built-in generator, so it's important to be mindful of your electricity usage when boondocking. The fridge runs continuously, consuming power from the battery, so plan accordingly. If you're connected to shore power, there's no issue. However, the heater and water heater only work when connected to shore power, so you'll have cold water for showers if not hooked up.
