This is a top of the line overland rig ready to go wherever your Colorado adventures take you. Our family loves this camper trailer (affectionately named "The Gander") and it can go almost anywhere-on road or off with a dry weight of only 2,450 lbs. (200lb. dry tongue weight). BRX makes some of the toughest and most capable overland campers in the business. Outdoorsy included the BRX in its top 10 best off-road camping trailers of 2023. Described by BRX as a "teardrop trailer on steroids," this rig gets a lot of looks on our adventures as there are not many rigs quite like this. The Gander is a BRX X2+ built on a solid steel frame and boasts 22” of ground clearance thanks to its 3500 lb. HD Timbren axel-less suspension and rugged 35” BFG K02 All Terrain Tires on Method Wheels. The Multi-Axis Coupler Hitch provides superior off road capability while its 12” electric brakes provide exceptional stopping power. The Gander is smooth on the highway, yet able to take on tough terrain when the pavement ends. This is the ultimate family adventure vehicle for exploring the Rocky Mountains.BRX rigs are designed to make it easier for your family and friends to get away from it all without leaving it all behind. Creature comforts include: a queen size memory foam bed in the cabin complete with linens and pillows (sleeps 2 comfortably), a climate controlled cabin (heat, AC, vent fan), a 2-3 person Tepui Rooftop Tent (not pictured, installation Spring 2023) complete with 3” Queen size memory foam mattress and 3 sleeping bags (sleeps 2-3), ARB Awning and Annex Room (additional family space or perhaps room to sleep 2-3 additional people on camping mattresses (9 person total capacity), instant hot water shower, galley kitchen with stainless steel counter, kitchen sink & maple cabinetry, 55 Gallon Dometic Refrigerator, 2 Burner Gas Stove, 24 gallon underbody water tank, Honda Generator/Dual Battery Powered Inverter/Solar Panel (hook up to shore power or stay off grid for days).

We are delighted that we can share this experience with others staring in 2023 and we are here to make sure that your trip in The Gander will provide you with memories that you will never forget.We are happy to provide our input regarding towns and areas of Colorado to explore. Though we have not been everywhere in Colorado (yet), we have traveled extensively around the state and have pretty good knowledge of places to stay and things to do. We can recommend a few favorite mountain towns (a couple that are not that well known), some epic hikes, favorite restaurants, hot springs, etc. If you would like to know more, feel free to ask. We will do our best to help.If you are planning to visit a National Park (ex: Rocky Mountain) please keep in mind that campsite reservations must be made online often times 6 months or more in advance with the National Park Service.

Rental includes Echo Brake Controller (fits 7 Pin Connection Only) which allows for BlueTooth control of Electric Brakes via cell phone app.The Gander is not available from October-April as it is winterized for the season.
No Smoking in the Cabin or in the Tent/Annex (please adhere to this rule as we have a child with very severe asthma). Security deposit will be held until smoke remediation can be obtained. Guest will be responsible for smoke remediation costs and a $100 service fee will be assessed out of the security deposit.
No Drug Use
Generally No Pets; however, we may approve one (1) pet for a $20 per day additional fee. Dogs only. Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet and the size, breed, etc. Brining a pet without prior authorization will forfeit the return of your deposit. Please no pets unattended in the BRX cabin and no pets at all in the RTT (rooftop tent).
No Music Festivals. No Festivals of any kind (i.e., Sturgis, Burning Man, etc.)
No Tailgating
No Climbing on top of the BRX or on top of the RTT. The BRX has heavy duty steps to help you access tent poles and the RTT access should only be from the ladder.The Gander must be returned clean- kitchen cleaned and dishes/utensils washed, interior of cabin clean. We will deep clean and disinfect but we ask that it be returned clean and tidy with items placed back where you found them. We are a family of six (4 boys) that enjoys hiking, mountain biking, exploring, fly fishing, and overlanding in the Rocky Mountain West.
