BUT YOU Have TO Manage Your Power! The batteries are sufficient for a light or two but not long term use, so that's the importance of using the generator when power is needed. You again might want to see if your regular insurance company covers this or just purchase it when renting. Realistically I pay over $1300 a year for insurance on my RV and I might use it for a trip or two a year. Just to let you know that for myself and family to take it out for 2 weeks in the year, I'm paying $692 a night plus I have the cost of maintenance. On the other hand if you took it out for 2 weeks with all fees included, it would cost you $242 a night and you walk away without the maintenance and storage cost. Yes, by renting it out it does offset my cost but it can be a challenge for us at times. This rig cost 189K.....and we enjoy it....
