Topo the Transit Campervan

This van does it all and has it all! We will definitely be looking to rent again for our next Midwest adventure. The hosts are incredibly helpful, easy to communicate with and just wonderful people in general.

We had the best trip with Topo! Long story short, we found out we were unable to use another reservation as we were getting ready to leave with our bags packed. We scrambled and came across this van and are so glad we did! The bed was comfy, the sink and stove were great, and it came with everything you need: pots, pans, plates, tables, chairs, you name it. The hosts have a guidebook and accompanying YouTube videos that explain how to work everything like the plumbing and electricity. We are seasoned tent campers and first-time van campers and this van was perfect for us. We would definitely rent it again and recommend it to rookies and veterans alike.

What a wonderful camper van! Sean and Michelle put so much love and care into building Topo the Transit and it shows. They thought of every little detail. The YouTube Videos were very helpful in getting to know the van prior to arrival. I’ll be looking for another vacation to plan in the Midwest just so I can rent Topo again.

Host was fantastic! The videos I watched before the rental made me feel like it was my van, I had all the knowledge I needed to take it out and adventure. Van was in superb shape and drove like a dream. Nicely appointed and very comfortable. Even had a bunch of fun games we played! Highly recommend :)

We had a wonderful trip in the Topo throughout the east coast for our summer family vacation. We are a family of four (2 kids who are 8 and 11 yrs old), and it was the perfect size for the four of us. Some notes on the van - The van was very easy to drive. Between the streets of Chicago to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, we had zero issues with it. It was a good size that it didn't feel too oversized ever (we are city folk who aren't used to very large cars). - The van is kept in very good condition. It was very clean and everything worked seamlessly. No issues with the stove, fridge, turning the seats, putting down the bed, opening/closing the cabinets, etc. It is clear that Michelle takes very good care of the van. - Michelle stocked it for us with some basic pots/pans, eating utensils, sleeping bags, camping chairs, window covers. It made the packing part of the trip very easy as we only had to take our personal belongings. Michelle has also put together quite a bit of instructional videos which are available on youtube which gave some peace of mind in case we ran into any issues (although we did not). We would rent this again and hope to for future road trips! Thank you Michelle!
