• Cross check everything is secured inside the RV including that all cabinets are closed before driving. • Unhook all hoses/cord (sewer, electricity, water) before driving. • Close all roof vents, doors of exterior storage, propane, generator, shower, engine compartment before driving. • Raise stabilizer jack before driving. • Close grey and black water valves and cap. • Retract awning before starting engine and before driving. • Door step is in before driving. • Lock door before driving. • Drive within USA and Canada. No Mexico trip. • Do not plug RV to an external generator. • The 3-3-3 RV Rule is a popular strategy among RVers to avoid travel fatigue and enjoy the destination rather than just the journey (although half of the fun is driving the RV). It’s highly recommended to limit travel to 300 miles a day, arrive by 3 p.m. for the reason that you still have to set-up camp even already having all the amenities inside the RV especially if you will hook up all the hoses and plugging in so please take that in consideration and if parking in the public campgrounds, it could be really dark if you arrive past the sunset; lastly try to stay at least 2-3 nights if possible to enjoy the destination. We understand that you want to cover a lot of miles for a period of time of your rental so just pace accordingly.
