We designed this little beauty last year specially for riding powder and surfing waves (note the surf/snowboard rack on the side). We delivered our design to a talented welder + carpenter in Victoria, BC and he made our tiny camper dreams come to life. It's more of a glamping sitch than a "all-the-bells-and-whistles-motorhome" type deal so if you enjoy getting out in nature with a little bit of extra comfort and class on top a beautiful blue 4x4 Toyota Tacoma this is for you! Unlike many campers and RV's this girl is fully insulated and 100% water tight (hence the small marine-grade windows), so she holds up in torrential downpours and super wet conditions. The ceiling and bed area are lined with BC cedar giving it a warm and homy feel plus hugely decreasing humidity buildup... paired with the sage-green velvet cushion covers (hand made by my mom!) and the "Surfboard Yellow" painted accent walls, this baby's got a retro vibe!The large wooden counter top gives this tiny camper a larger-than-usual cooking space that has a sink (with a small refillable tank), propane camp stove, and ample storage for pots, pans, spices, and dry goods. There's also a new electric cooler to keep all your food fresh.The bed sleeps two adults and is incredibly comfortable - we always joke that we never sleep better than when we're in the camper. The half of the bed that is overtop of the cooler (see photo) is on hinges and flips up and down, giving you that much more room to sit. There is a removable cushion that fits on top of the cooler, forming an L-shaped bench so you can lift it up and down to access your food. We've had a third adult sleep on the bench/couch before, which is fine if you please, however it is a bit of a narrow sleep. There's no washroom in the camper but we do have a small composting toilet with a pop up tent included that you can take with you if you'd like (that said, we find campgrounds and coffee shops sufficient).We know you'll love this golden girl just as much as we do and we trust you'll take care of her as if she's your own!
