We want your trip to be as easy and affordable as possible, so we don't charge any cleaning or prep fees. The campervan also comes equipped with a Parks Canada Discovery Pass (covering entry to Banff, Jasper, Yoho, and Kootenay) and a Kananaskis Conservation Pass, so you can explore the mountain trails completely fee-free!
Louise is a professionally converted, custom-wood campervan designed for effortless, off-grid touring through Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise or wherever else your adventure takes you!InteriorThe interior is a beautiful wooden finish that is designed for comfort, space and functionality.-Kitchen: The kitchen includes a large prep area, camp stove, pots & pans, small french press, cooking utensils, plates, cups & mugs, bowls and eating utensils, and lots of space for pantry storage. Hand and dish towels are included. There is a high efficiency cooler fridge located between the driver and passenger seat - very convenient for snacks on the road!-Toilet: Inside the bench there is a Thetford self-contained toilet! Very easy to use and dump at the end of your trip - if you’d rather we can dump for a fee.-Sleeping: The bed sleeps two and is a queen size (60” wide x 76” long). All your towels, bedding, linens and pillows are provided. Above the bed is a reading light, a 10 speed roof vent and some extra fans which helps you stay cool on hot nights.-Lighting: Plenty of LED lighting installed including pot lights, two reading lights & glow lighting in the kitchen and garage storage, and a backlit water tank so you can always see how much water you have.-Storage: There is Tons storage throughout, including in the kitchen (soft close drawers), and a large 'garage' storage area under the bed for any larger gear or luggage.WaterThis campervan has a massive 132L (35 gallon) water tank and will last the average rental 2 weeks without needing to fill it. We will have it filled and ready to go for your rental! If you need to refill during your stay, the process is easy and can be done from any source of clean drinking water. There is a full size kitchen sink and a convenient outdoor shower in the back. Towels are included for your stay.PowerThis campervan has a large battery bank that has 3 ways to charge: the sun (310W solar panel), driving (120A alternator), or plugging in to shore power (40A charger). This allows for weeks of off-grid power! There are plenty of outlets and USB chargers for cell phones, laptops and tablets. The front dash is equipped with a universal phone mount for easy navigation, a USB outlet for you to charge your phone and a Bluetooth FM transmitter connection so you can play your own music.-Each rental includes a small welcome basket with some of our favorite snacks for you to enjoy!Check IN/Check OUTWe do our best to accommodate early pick-ups and late drop-offs when our schedule allows, and a few hours of flexibility is often available. Hosts Richie and Stacey are quick to respond to messages. They provide thorough tours of the van, share recommendations for trips, and are available to help guests throughout their rental.
Easy to drive and park
The vehicle is easy to park in typical spots and drives well. It's comfortable, with a roomy fridge, solar panel, and water tank for off-grid use. However, it's an older, basic model lacking cruise control/Bluetooth, and had one report of steering issues.

4.0Richie is an excellent host and very responsive. This is my sixth Campervan that I have rented. I am taking one Star off because the van was very basic and older. There wasn’t cruise control or Bluetooth. Things like a backup camera and KM 18 FM converter, which we never got to work, were all aftermarket and didn’t work well. A check stability-track light came on most times when we were driving and the steering shook. The stove and the cooler fridge were not built in so they took space in the main cabin. It was just an older van than I was used to. In all fairness, he did describe it accurately. The price was about the same as newer vans that I have rented. I would just encourage you to read the description carefully.

5.0We had an amazing trip driving Luna. The fridge is surprisingly roomy. It was a nice size vehicle and easy to park in a typical parking spot or could use the RV spots as well. Richie and Stacey were great hosts and were very quick to respond to any message. We would highly recommend renting from Alpine Vans.
