Overall we really enjoyed our trip. After all who wouldn’t enjoy Australia? The van was in good working condition and was generally clean. The towels we were given to use were thoughtful however had stains on them so we rewashed them to make sure they were clean. We planned to use all the kitchen equipment they provided but it was unfortunately greasy and had not been cleaned since it was last used so we did not use any kitchen equipment. Upon returning the van we were charged for lost kitchen items even though we hadn’t used any of it. We sent an email explaining that we had not used any of the kitchen equipment, however we were still charged for it and did not receive a response from Byron Adventure Vans. Communication thought out the booking process was good and we found the staff to be helpful. However the lack of response after our booking put a negative twist on our overall experience. The van had thoughtful touches to feel more like “home” ex: comforter, accent pillows, and cozy string lighting in the back. The folding chairs were comfortable and easy to store. Lots of storage space under the bed and the bed was comfortable. We would recommend this company to other travelers. We would also suggest that they thoroughly check the van inside and out before starting their trip to avoid any undeserving charges.
