2016 Ford Transit
Our high roof, extended wheelbase Ford Transit is the perfect van to rent for two. Professionally built cabinets, tons of storage in the garage and front of the van, LED lights throughout, propane stove, solar operated refrigerator. This van has everything you want and more! -Fully outfitted with linens, towels, French press coffee maker,, pots, pans, plates, cups, cooking utensils, etc.
-Memory Foam Queen-size Bed with Down Comforter and Linens
-2 Swiveling Seats and one cozy bench seat for 1.5-2 people ;)
-Refrigerator with Freezer compartment (that deep freezes!)
-Two-Burner Propane Stove (not removable)
-Sink with on-demand hot water, 2.5 gallon grey water tank
-21 gallon capacity fresh water tank with filtration system
-Outdoor shower with hot and cold water
-300 Watt Solar system with 200 amp hours of lithium battery storage (plenty to run everything in the van plus charge your laptop indefinitely)
-Inverter-1000W, 110 volts
-Pop-up work station

Please DO NOT attempt to drive the van on the road to Black Velvet Canyon and other rough and bumpy dirt roads.

Hey, I'm Thomas! Campervans and climbing have been my life since I was honorably discharged from the Army in 2014. I am an Amga Certified Rock Guide primarily based out of the Colorado Front Range in the summer and Las Vegas in the fall/winter/spring. I have built many campervans and this 2016 Ford Transit is my third van that I've owned and lived in full time; first was a Volkswagen Eurovan (custom TDI and 5 speed swapped) and the second was a Mercedes Sprinter. My girlfriend, Steph, dog, BB and I were living in the van full-time until recently when we decided to become home dwellers. When I'm not working, I'm either climbing or developing new rock climbing routes.

No. Our van has fairly low clearance and a super long wheel-base so we ask that you do not take the van on 4x4 roads. Some dirt road driving is permitted, within reason, such as accessing camping in Lovell Canyon near Las Vegas or driving to El Dorado Canyon in Boulder. Please DO NOT attempt to drive the van on the road to Black Velvet Canyon and other rough and bumpy dirt roads. Any damage incurred on the van will be the renters’ responsibility to repair.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yes, there are a few "tricks and tips" for operating each of the manual components of the van, such as the inverter, water pump, external shower, water tank filling, etc. so we have created short tutorial videos for each of these components and will also provide a quick demonstration and walkthrough when you pick up the van at the start of your trip.
