2022 Airstream Basecamp
The perfect blend of adventure, versatility and creature comforts. Super easy to tow, packed with convenient amenities. We are a family of 4 that loves to take our Basecamp on weekend trips out of the city to the many state parks, forest preserves and campgrounds that surround Chicago.Our 20X Basecamp is decked out - she features a convertible king-sized bed in the back, a dinette that converts to a bed in the front, sink, propane range, microwave, air conditioning, heat strip, furnace, toilet, wet bath shower, outdoor shower, on-demand water heater and ceiling fans. 160W solar panels power the rig when not connected to shore power.Please note that the Basecamp has batteries on board that charge with the solar panels on the roof. You will have unlimited access to this battery and solar for power. The camper does not have any other generator. Shore power is required to run the air conditioner and microwave.We will include the propane tanks at an additional charge. Propane tanks are required for the furnace, hot water heater and cooking range.Cosa è inclusoWe have equipped her with 2 rocking camping chairs, 2 camp side tables, a spacious outdoor rug, 2 Rompr camp blankets, a Keurig brewer, 4 sets of flatware, plates and bowls, cooking utensils. Basecamps don't come with an awning, so if you want we'll even throw in a 10x10 canopy shade for your campsite at no additional cost.We strongly encourage that you use a weight distribution hitch and will include one at no additional charge. Your vehicle's towing capacity must meet or exceed 5,000 pounds. We pull it with a 2021 Toyota 4Runner Limited.Delivery, pickup and setup at a campsite within a 50 mile radius available upon request for $1/mile RT. While she is fully capable of boondocking, we strongly encourage first-time renters to find a campsite with a minimum 30A hookup.RaccomandazioniPicking a destination is half the fun! Hi there! We are a family of 4 who loves spending time around a campfire and sleeping out under the stars with our 2 young kids. We work hard and play hard - taking trips out of Chicago to the many gorgeous state parks, campgrounds and beaches that surround us. We rented campers for a few years before finally taking the plunge and buying our very own Airstream Basecamp 20X. We really love how easy it is to tow behind our Toyota 4Runner, and the convenience of having a cool, comfortable bed (and bathroom!) near by.
