1990 Volkswagen "Doka" double cab transporter. This is the same chassis as the Vanagon, but is configured like a pick-up truck. Seats 5 and has a 4 speed manual transmission. This Doka has been converted to a 2.5 liter Subaru engine that has plenty of pickup and cruises very comfortably. This machine was never imported for sale in the USA - so is a very unique ride. PacWesty's favorite surf mobile! The standard rental configuration includes awesome James Baroud roof top tent. Can also be rented at a discount without the tent. And this machine is dog-friendly! What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Our pick up times are typically between the hours of 12pm and 4pm PST. We can accommodate earlier pick up times for additional charges. Our standard drop off time is 12pm PST. We can accommodate later drop-offs (up to 4pm PST) for an additional charge.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
We take you through a full walkthrough when you check out your vehicle. This will usually take up to an hour. We go over every step of the process, allowing you to feel confident even if it's your first adventure!
