Accommodating, responsive, and attentive host
Sam is praised for being accommodating, kind, and responsive. He allowed pre-booking viewing, was easy to get a hold of for questions, and even rushed an AC repair to ensure a top-notch experience for guests.

The van drives great, is well-equipped with supplies like towels, linens, and cooking tools, and features surprisingly comfortable beds. Minor issues include a passenger door seal that leaks in rain and occasional interior function hiccups like tables not stowing or a worn bathroom door latch.

5.0Sam was great to work with and the van worked well. With a family of four (two adults + toddler + infant), it was a bit cramped but that would be the same for any Camper Van platform. Only issue we had was some rain leaking through the passenger side door and collecting in the footwell (door seal leaked). This did not impede our trip or experience, just something to be aware of. Great experience overall!

5.0Sam was extremely accommodating and very easy to book with. He was willing to meet up with us and let us check out the Van before booking to make sure it was in good condition and what we needed. The van had everything we needed (towels, linens, cooking tools, etc) and all we had to bring was clothes and perishable food! Only a few hiccups with functions inside the van, (the stow away tables not wanting to stay “stowed”, bathroom door latch is a bit worn out and door would fly open while driving, passenger door is tweaked along top edge and doesn’t fully seal so water leaked in during rainstorms) but nothing mechanically wrong with the drivability or important functions of the van. The beds were surprisingly super comfortable! Overall we had a great vacation in Scarjo:)

5.0Sam was an excellent host. Very respectful of our time and requests. This was our first time renting from Outdoorsy. We were nervous to fly thousands of miles to Texas to rent from a stranger. Sam understood the availability of his RV was critical to the success of our vacation. He even rushed an AC repair before our arrival to ensure everything was top notch. The only problem I have now is my son keeps asking to go back to Texas to enjoy the red camper van. Mahalo Sam!
