Try out our well-loved and often driven Thor Chateau! I love it because you can park almost Anywhere a large vehicle can. Chock full of amenities, like 2 TV's (one outdoor!), stove, microwave, a comfy full sized bed, cold A/C and a heater system that kept me warm during the great 2020 Freeze (below 0) of Texas! Ideal for small families or friend groups! Camping chairs, roasting sticks, all linens included. While everything is in fair working condition, see list on "other things to note" to see why this well-used RV comes at a discount.Cosa è incluso- Camping chairs,

Raccomandazioni"Le Chateau" is great for exploring all the state parks in the area, as well as overflow sleeping for family gatherings.Altre cose di cui prendere nota45-60 mins to walk through vehicle for pick up and drop off.
Awning works but has a tear in it.
Generator is for backup, occasional use only.
Fridge works well when the RV is parked LEVEL (use level and ramps)
Blinds don't go up and down. I use clamps to pin up.
Multiple cosmetic issues.
A/C might leak on humid days. I left extra towels and a rug for that.

Hi! I'm a single mom with two young kids and we absolutely Love our RV! We are excited to share it with you so you can have amazing adventures and make memories with those you love. We have been all over the country in it: from Maine to California, and of course all over Texas, where we are from.

No smoking, $500 cleaning charge if it comes back smelling like smoke.

Cleaning - Remove all trash, food from fridge, and sweep out. Bring back in as good or better condition or $100/hour cleaning fee, 1 hour minimum.
Dumping fees included.
Toll Usage - will charge an additional 50% over the toll amount, but I have a TX Tag, so it will be cheaper than Pay by Mail
Bring back with as much gas as was in it or $6/gallon fill up.
Bring back with as much propane as was in it or $20/quarter fill up.
Note that 4.50/mile for pick up and drop off are figured by every mile that I drive. So if you live 30 miles away and I pick up and drop off, I'm traveling 120 miles and the cost per mile is configured as such.
RV is loaded with cooking, cleaning, camping and emergency gear. If you need me to clean it out for you, it's $150.
RV to remain within a 300 mile radius of Austin, Texas.

Could’ve been a better trip. I could not get the refrigerator to work for the entire 3 days I rented it. The owner was very responsive and claims it was user error. I was lucky to have friends with other RVs that I could store my food. Half the lights in the vehicle were not operational and neither was the main cabin vent fan. The interior tv was not mounted and had to be propped to watch. The DVD was not operational since the remote was not provided. That was a disappointment to my kids. It was also highly unorganised. Supplies were haphazardly shoved in the cabinetry some of which were full of the owner’s belongings.

Q.Can I use the RV off grid (no hookups?)
A.
It is not recommended to use the RV off grid in extreme heat where you will need to run the generator in order to run the A/C, microwave, outlets, etc. If you need to be comfortable, please make sure you have an appropriate place to hook up to electricity (30amp) or go off grid in a cool climate.
