The RV was in a state of disrepair and was not roadworthy.
The right hand side front and rear indicator lights were broken. The hazard warning lights were broken. The right hand side front mirror dropped down when driving.
The left hand side storage door did not lock and flew open when driving. We were stopped by police in Homer Spit. The electrical sockets inside the RV did not work. The automatic step stopped working. The water filter had a big leak and I had to fix it with tape. The rear automatic levelling system did not work so the RV was never level when parked up. We accidentally damaged one of the arms of the automatic awning caused by hitting the open door. Outdoorsy have charged us $650 with no evidence to support the cost. The motor was not damaged and a replacement arm is no more than $250. Outdoorsy has an obligation to protect its renters as well as owners and it seems on this occasion no such offer has been extended to us.

Richard was easy to work with and a great communicator. He was accommodating picking us up at the airport and flexible on the return timing to meet our agenda. The RV was nice, comfortable and great condition as listed. We were extremely happy to have the second bathroom option as my wife and I had our own bathroom and the four kids had theirs. I’d highly recommend renting from Richard.

This rv was not what we expected as a family of 8 plus a baby. I put in detail how many people and what ages they all were that we’re staying in the RV for 4 nights, yet this RV really couldn’t sleep 8 and a baby.
