Too bad I can’t leave ZERO stars. This was a forgettable experience in EVERY sense. The RV company—becuase this is not an individual, it’s a Persian bazaar-style business that doesn’t care about anything but turning over RVs quickly—was terrible at communication. We spent over $3k on this rental and I could not even get a call back or email for the month before pick up. Then when I gave up on getting any response, I showed up at pick up and was told the RV had not been returned yet, but the employee was laughing at the situation as he told me. I don’t expect a ton of empathy, but he seemed like he was drunk or high the way he was laughing. We ended up leaving hours late because they still had to clean it after it was returned. Also, the “extras” were a waste of money. The coffee machine was broken and didn’t really make coffee but still got really warm and seemed like a great way to start a fire in the RV. At pick up time after “cleaning” the RV was leaking water from the fridge (pooling on the floor and running across the RV floor), so the employees just threw a dirty towel down on the floor and told us they were sure it would be fine. While out camping, it rained (it’s Alaska) and every time it did there was a leak in the RV and it pooled then ran across the floor of the RV. It seemed like the water was coming from the slide out, but no idea. Outdoorsy really should discontinue ALL business with this company and, separately, should let renters know before booking when there is a 3rd party like this involved because now that we know the name of the company they have horrendous yelp and other online reviews. Pictures below are of multiple water leaks including the one from pick up and two while camping when it rained.

Other than the heater wouldn’t work off grid. Worked fine while connected to rv site electrical. Owner made an attempt to fix it while we were out on the road but couldn’t. He at least tried. Nice people to deal with though.

Jamie is the best

rv was very clean, everything worked good, had no issues. staff very accommodating, got us in and out very fast and after hours was much appreciated. return was effortless also. Jamie was amazing to work with she took VERY GOOD care of us and was very quick to respond to anything i asked for. We had got caught in the close of a different rv company a month before our trip and when i called Jamie she saved the day and our trip by coming thru with a rv to accommodate our group of six, so we were able to complete our trip as planned. We would highly recommend Alaska RV rentals, staff, and of course Jamie. Only drawback didn't get to meet Jamie face to face and give her a big hug for saving the day. thank you
