Eklutna is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountain peaks where you can rent kayaks and hike. Seward, the gateway to the Gulf of Alaska offers wonderful wildlife viewing opportunities. Travel to portage to visit Portage and other nearby Glaciers. Girdwood is a charming town to visit with great local restaurants. There are numerous campgrounds within a 100-mile radius of Anchorage.
