1986 'Poly' Volkswagen Westfalia Syncro

We had a great time driving Poly. Wish we could make our trip longer.

Great company, super clean vehicle, everything you need except the food. Poly drives like a dream! Fun way to spend some camping time enjoying summer in Alaska.

WOW what a PERFECT way to see Alaska!!!! My friend Christina and I only had a long weekend to spend and wanted to get out and see some nature -- the VW van [we got Poly -- she has a heater and 4WD and she's the BEST]! Not to mention that Mandy went way above and beyond helping us get on our way for a perfect weekend ... she was super helpful in reserving (even checked to confirm we were still ok coming with the recent fires before she charged my credit card), gave us really awesome recommendations of places to go / what to do, and was just super friendly and such an amazing person! The van comes with some local coffee that was delish, local G&T's, and local spices, REALLY soft sheets ... seriously the best short Alaska weekend Christina and I could have asked for!!

My wife and I did have an "awesome trip" and Poly was just right for the two of us. Our itinerary had us visiting Girdwood, Seward, Hope, Palmer, Talkeetna, Denali, Eklutna, and Anchorage. We enjoyed camping at Seward, Hope, and Denali. An issue with the heater did not negatively impact our experience and we would look forward to renting again from Tickster Trips if we are fortunate enough to return to Alaska in the future.

We had a blast!! Lots of laughs, exploring, enjoying the state of Alaska at 55mph!! We did pass 5 vehicles tho so we felt pretty good about that!! For two city girls, the camping was fun.. Showers never felt so good!! Gonna remember this trip for a good long time!! Hope it’s not the one and only, cause we left so much unexplored.. Hoping to come back again and explore more in a vintage VW bus!! Relived a part of my childhood thanks to Trickster trips!! THANK YOU!!
