Despite its compact size, the trailer is incredibly spacious on the inside, with a king-size fold-out bed, or the option of having a customizable double bench and table as well as many other features.One of the best features of this trailer is the large rear hatch that can be opened up to catch an amazing view of camp and bring in some fresh air. Seemingly cushiony looking bushes and trees usually have thick trimmed branches hiding under all the leaves that can do serious damage to the trailer. Please keep this in mind especially once you’re in a camping area where this it is more common to have road obstructions than you would in the street.• Please ONLY use the indoor stove for boiling whether it’s water or broth base foods. Please do not cook anything that creates grease or smoke. It’s a small space so kitchen grease will splatter everywhere and the smoke/ steam will leave odors behind. On top of that, the smoke alarm will not let you cook much before going off every 5 seconds. We highly recommend using the included stove outside. Thank you!• one of the last key requests, please do not wash any food scraps down the sink. We will provide washing tubs. This is typically standard for any camping including with trailers / rv’s. There is no garbage disposal so the sinks will clog.
We basically treat the sink as a bathroom sink / hand washing station.what’s great with the modular design of the interior I would say just play around with it and see what suits you best. • NO OFF ROAD TRAILS the basecamp has a lift and good tires to allow you to comfortably drive on dirt roads that lead to a campground or get up a steep driveway. Those features are not intended for off road use, you can cause severe damage to both the trailer and your vehicle.
• Remember, Speed limit for towing is 55. Rule of thumb, stay in the second or third to last lane ( closest to the slow lane) this will keep you from getting stuck or getting into a accident with merging traffic.
• BEFORE YOU DRIVE, double check that the door and rear hatch are sealed and locked, make sure there are no loose items rolling around the trailer including luggage, make sure the fridge is locked.
• Double check that your lights are synced with the vehicle and that the tow connector is properly seated, it is easy to accidentally plug it in upside down, this will cause the trailer to activate full breaks if your headlights turn on. ( pretty major outcome for a small mistake lol)
