We have rental locations throughout the US and are servicing Salt Lake City and Phoenix areas with numerous vans for rent at each location. We have become a trusted rental provider for all customers looking for an amazing experience and great customer service. We are the sweet spot in between the tent and the RV, getting you out on an adventure in comfort and style, without breaking the bank. We have an experienced staff to keep our vehicles professionally cleaned, well maintained, and reliable for you to take on outdoor adventure. We provide three sizes of campervans built to get you into the outdoors and reasonable prices.

Outdoorsy and Wandervans were fantastically easy to work with! We were able to locate and load up our van with no issues at all. The van was cozy but perfect for our family as we traveled around the 4-corner states. We were able to see Colorado National Monument, Pikes Peak, Great Sand Dunes NP, Grand Canyon NP, and Zion NP (along with all the beautiful fall colors along the way)! The only real disappointment was that we didn't get to go through Petrified Forest NP due to the 2025 gov't shutdown. It just gives us a reason to go back, right? Adventure on!

We had a great time camping in the mid-sized Wandervan. It was the perfect vehicle for our trip. Being able to see out all the windows was a strong reason for choosing this van. We could pull into regular parking spaces at parks, restaurants, etc. We were able to camp in places that were restful and uncrowded. One was by a river with huge fish and a scenic rock ridge on the other side. We had a flat tire on the first day out. The Wandervan contact was very helpful in guiding us about our options. The bed was comfy. It was great having a working sink as our companions did not. The vehicle handled well for most of our trip except the last day when cross winds did catch us a few times. Overall the built-in features of lights, fans, heater and fridge were helpful. Though we did not need them, the add-on options are helpful for out of state travellers. I also especially liked the convenience of the contactless check-in/check-out system. We would definitely rent again from this group if the opportunity presents.

Within driving ten miles from the pickup location started having tire issues, front right tire was low and clearly had not be topped off with air before pickup. Couldn’t get tire sensor to reset, reached out to the company but took two hours to get a response even though reached out during their open business hours. Then when we went to use the cooking supplies you could see food residue on the pots and pans. Assumed we would have received properly cleaned dishes for the price we were paying on the rental.
Talked to the gentleman in charge and his response/excuse for the problem was he had a newer younger gentleman working for him who must have not checked everything. Not the most professional response. Would not rent again.

Generally a good experience, but definitely would have been improved with coverings for the back windows and a higher daily mileage allowance.

Though it was a cool experience, I didn’t care for the experience with this company. They have high expectations of their customers, strict rules about the van, the rental agreement completely protects them while they hold a $500 deposit for several days after returning the van, etc. Despite these facts, their standards are low for themselves, specifically with cleanliness. Our van was old and definitely not “professionally” cleaned prior to taking possession. The chairs, table and awning (paid extra for) we were given were disgusting. We didn’t want to sit in the chairs and opted out of using the table and awning altogether. We found all different hair throughout the van, it was dusty and the flooring was dirty. I also didn’t like the way they communicate (not pleasant or friendly), they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to cancelations for any reasons (not that we needed to, luckily) and how they think it’s appropriate to take money well in advance of the reservation. Unfortunately due to our plans, we didn’t have much choice when it came to soliciting Wandervan—we needed this service for a unique trip. I definitely didn’t feel like a valuable customer to this company, and won’t be using them again for future trips.

Van was exactly as advertised. Ride was smooth and we had all the space we needed for two of us for five days on the road. Had one minor concern that they handled immediately and fairly.

We had an awesome trip to Yellowstone and the van was super comfortable with everything we needed. I took one star off because we had to take the van for an oil change before we could even leave Salt Lake City. I think the company should monitor oil changes and mileage more carefully to make sure this kind of thing does not happen again. I will say that my upfront costs to get the oil changed was quickly credited back to our account without any problems. Other than getting a "late" start on our vacation, our experience was wonderful and we would rent from this company again.

Pick up and drop off super easy and the van is pretty self explanatory. I would not recommend renting this for a family as the layout is not compatible for ever being in the van apart from sleep. Nowhere to put any luggage, camping gear, etc and even with the mini sink, there is no space to place anything down on apart from a bench seat.
