Hi! We are Cody and Melia from Sunny Road Rentals, a professional RV rental business, offering quality, clean, well-maintained vehicles. We have numerous vehicles available for rent in north San Diego Exploring, traveling, and camping with our three children is what we love. Melia is a teacher and Cody is a photographer. We have spent many years traversing the western U.S. in search of good campsites and great photos. Some of our favorite places in the world are Yosemite, Yellowstone and the Oregon Coast and our customers love to go there as well. We meticulously maintain and clean our late-model, LOW-mileage RV's so you can have a worry-free vacation. Our goal is to provide you with a fully stocked, newer RV with all the amenities you expect and the little extras you don't! I want to start off by saying that I am not one to write negative reviews for businesses, especially family and locally owned businesses but I feel obligated to write this review for the safety of others who are considering renting an RV from this company or any company for that matter.On our way back home, the two rear driver side tires popped on the freeway in Bakersfield. We immediately notified the owner and called roadside assistance. The owner let us know that it was very unusual for two tires to pop at once. When the tire expert arrived, he inspected the tires. There was no nail, screw or anything that punctured the tires. I made sure to take videos of the tires for proof. The expert identified that the valve on the inner tire was broken. This is most likely why the sensor was on. Because the valve was broken, over time the tire was releasing air and was putting more pressure and straining the outer tire which ultimately caused it to pop. We paid $550 to replace both tires.Also, one of the rear tires was a different size then the rest of the tires and the owner stated he wasn't aware. This is your business and you are renting RV's to families with kids. It is your responsibility to diligently inspect the RV. This is such a huge liability. I am just so grateful that no one was hurt and that this did not happen on the dangerous windy Yosemite roads. I am writing this review so that others do not have to experience this. If there are any sensors on, please do not take the vehicle. Also, make sure to inspect the tires to make sure they are in good shape and the right size.

Cody was awesome. Super friendly and patient. He was able to help me out in a pinch, was very thorough with his walk through for a 1st timer and was able to help me while on the road with a few things that were user error. I will certainly go back to Cody for my next RV road trip!

Everything went smooth from the booking to the return. Cody walked me through all of features of the motorhome and that made me comfortable to on our long 6 day family trip. The RV was clean, well maintained and it glided down the frewayt like a dream! I will definitely rent from Sunny Road again!

Had a great time in this 28ft motor home. Took our son and the in-laws out to pismo village rv resort. The rv was very accomodating. Cody was very helpful with pick up and drop off. Everything went smooth.

Great experience from the get go, Cody gave us a detailed orientation on how to use the RV. This was especially helpful, being first time RV users. Cody kept in contact with us throughout our trip and answered any questions we had. Turn in was smooth and super flexible. I recommend using the Holcombe’s for any RV rentals, we will again for sure.
