We pride ourselves on service and offer you a personal service to look after your booking and holiday requirements with as much care and attention as if it were our own. When we ourselves hired a VW California campervan, the children immediately fell in love with it and even gave it a name! It enabled us to enjoy the journey and stop where we wanted. Wherever we went, we were home! We want you to enjoy the California VW campervan too and hope it brings many happy memories for you and your family.

Great fun, easy and quick to pickup and return the van. great MPG and a good size to allow you to visit just about anywhere you wish to. Although the pick up was no where near where we live it's so centrally located that it allows for trips in all directions. I would definitely (and have) recommended booking from Southampton Campers again

Wonderful experience and highly recommend this company. we rented a stunning California fully specced up and less than a year old for a weekend to take our son to University in Falmouth. Daryll was really helpful, great run through on pick up of the features and operation of this great van. At night it was very comfortable and we even had the inbuilt central heating on low which kept us very comfortable. Big fridge for beer and wine! Remarkably comfortable and now want to buy a VW camper - although not sure we have a £60k budget for one like this right now! If you’re hesitating, don’t, go for it it and experience some van life in one of their stunning vehicles. Andrew

We've given this 4 stars rather than 5 only because of the very limited space when the bed had been pulled out and it was quite difficult to slide the cover back in place once the roof had been closed. The van was well equipped and the heater very efficient. We enjoyed the freedom of being able to tour without the hassle of towing our caravan and with unlimited mileage we made it as far as Loch Ness before having to come back. The owners of Southampton Campers are a lovely couple and took time to show us how everything worked before we set off. Would recommend this company.

We had a wonderful weekend away in our camper van from Southampton Campers. The camper van itself was brilliant - clean, fresh, new was fully equipped with everything you need and was comfortable both to drive, sit and sleep in. Darryl went through everything with us clearly and let us leave our car parked at his house whilst we were away. Thanks Darryl we'll definitely be back!
