Welcome to Montana Escapes! We’re glad to meet you! We are Gary and Cyndi and we are passionate about travelling and exploring. We’ve been all over the world and have seen some really great places, but we love our home here in Big Sky Country. There are so many adventures to share right here in our backyard! From Yellowstone National Park to Glacier to Grand Teton and beyond, there’s never a shortage of beautiful landscape and wildlife to see. Whether you are looking for great hiking, fishing, biking or just a quiet chair next to a lake with a book, we can help you get there. If you want recommendations of where to take our vehicles, just ask!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this rental! The vehicle was in great condition and the rooftop tent made our 4-night stay in Yellowstone both comfortable and memorable. Sleeping under the stars with the convenience of everything we needed right on top of the car was perfect for exploring the park.
Gary and Cyndi were fantastic—very communicative, helpful, and organized. They provided a wealth of resources, from gear to guides, which made our trip smooth and stress-free. You can tell they really care about making sure their guests have a great experience.
Highly recommend this setup for anyone looking for an adventurous yet cozy way to explore the outdoors. We’d absolutely rent again!

Gary and Cyndi are very helpful in every step of the process, they provided detail tips even before the trip started. The vehicle and camping gears are all in great condition and more than adequate to cater for all our needs.

The host throughly explained everything to me so set up was a breeze when I got to the campsite. I am so glad I found Outdoorsy! My trip would not have been as wonderful and as unique if I didn't get a rental from Outdoorsy. I will be back!

Gary was very quick to reply to my questions before and during the rental period. Very thorough with the check-in, checkout and demo of tent setup. Our family had a great time at the National Parks for 10 days. Extremely satisfied with his excellent service. Highly recommend.

Everything we needed and more! Rooftop tent was easy to assemble and pack away each night. Jeep rode well and was comfortable for driving around all day throughout Yellowstone. Would use them again!

Such a great experience renting this Jeep and car top tent for our week long trip to Yellowstone & Grand Teton! The host was very communicative and knowledgeable of the areas. We did go over the mileage limit- just be sure to account for that when planning your trip as the area (Yellowstone especially) is quite wide spread.

Wow! We had such a great experience renting from Gary and Cyndi. The Jeep is in great condition and very well-stocked with nearly everything you might need. We were really impressed with all of the thought that went into choosing the equipment the Jeep was stocked with. And the tent was amazing -- very comfortable (with great bedding, pillows, and camping mattress), warm, and huge. It was easily the nicest camping experience we've had. Gary was also terrific and we appreciated how he took time to show us how to operate everything and offer advice on routes and things to do. We highly recommend this rental!
