Craig and Esperanza Griffith have been married for 22 years and have two children. Craig is a retired Marine Corps veteran and Esperanza has a business degree and works for a large company here in Arizona. They enjoy traveling and have discovered the many unique travel experiences offered by RVing like the most recent cross country trip to the Midwest. They wish to share the infinite possibilities of RVing with you and are dedicated to providing every detail to ensure that your trip is as memorable and comfortable as possible making sure that you feel at "home away from home". They hope to host you again on your next RV adventure. They co-host with their oldest daughter, Catherine, who is currently attending Arizona State University.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to cancel this booking. But Craig and Esperanza were very understanding and helpful during the whole process. Once everything is over and we are allowed to travel again, we are definitely going to be booking through them.

Craig is cool but his wife Esperanza is absolutely atrocious to deal with. They charge you a cleaning fee but she expects for you to have it detailed upon it's return. She claims the stove was filthy, and we literally only cooked one pot of broccoli on it. We brought our own griddle to make pancakes and fish. We have pictures to show. We made sandwiches and musubis most of the trip with my rice cooker. The RV is 4 years old but if anything chips off of their couch it will be your responsibility. If you look at the passenger seat the leather has plenty of wear and tear as most vehicles with leather that have been rented out multiple times but God forbid the couch would have the same issue. She will charge you $20 a DVD if she can't find it for a scratched DVD that doesn't even work in the DVD system because of the scratches. We don't even own a DVD player so we don't use them. The utensils in the RV were full of food and weren't worth using. We bought plastic utensils. This woman is really trying to get over and they will nickle and dime you for everything. Also will watch your entire drive on their GPS and tell you where to park. The shade almost fell over on my baby as I tried to put it down. Literally just touched it, it fell and that became my fault. I sent them a link to a forum where multiple people had the same event with their shades. We've rented from other Outdoorsy host and this is by far the worth experience ever. Their gauges read wrong for black and grey tank, we had to show receipt that they had been emptied at RV super storage down from their house. Yet she still gave my husband and earful. The propane tank gauge is broken it's stuck on 3/4. That was never mentioned that it was broken but they know it now and you should know it too. Left with 3/4 of a tank and brought it back a hair under full didn't get any credit for that. Good luck filling an 80 gallon tank to exactly 3/4 just another way they will knickle and dime you. There was a nick in the wood and because we were unaware that they would be this way upon arrival we are unsure whether it was from us or not. So if you rent from them just make sure you take a detailed video of the interior so that you are not responsible for the wear and tear of what another renter or them may have done. I have posted photos of the filthy stove and drawers that she complained about. Also the passenger seat and couch that has the same issue. She is charging an extra cleaning fee of 125, which is already charged at the beginning of your contract. So you will be billed double for cleaning. Wish I could post the video of how it looked when we dropped it off. Just beware renting from these people all in all...

Well, well, well.....this is the classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde review that RV owners who have risked their several hundred-thousand-dollar investment(s) to make a small profit eventually face, no matter how much behind-the-scenes maintenance, interior cleaning, exterior detailing, and pre-departure training they put into every booking. Tanya's rant must be answered point-by-point for each of its long list of falsehoods and exaggerations, for I will not allow the 5-star reputation we worked so hard to earn from our previous clientele to be damaged by it.Let's examine each of Tanya's accusations with the truth from our side (and yes, we have all the pictures we need and then some!):
1) The stove: Specifically, the stovetop was stained with a white residue from boiled over liquids from front to the rear vents, which also were crusted with a dried reddish sauce; the stove door was also clearly stained with greasy palmprints, the dried white residue, as was the refrigerator door next to it.2) The rip in the lefthand sofa pad: This was not present after the previous trip and clearly occurred on this one, but we are also aware of the wear issue with the furniture and the renters were never charged for this.
3) The DVDs (2): The DVDs in question were charged because they were NEW and were MISSING from their cases, and could not be found in any of the DVD systems aboard the RV., although at least one other disc was recovered that way.
4) The utensils: All utensils, including cooking items, are sanitized prior to each trip, especially with the current CDC requirements; the claim that they were "full of food" is preposterous.
5) The shade: The double window shade over the dinette was pulled out of the two brackets holding it in its frame, causing the whole shade to fall out, frame and all. For four years I have adjusted that particular window shade more often than any other in the vehicle, including the driver's window shades, and never had the slightest difficulty or indication that it was about to collapse; her claim that she "literally, just touched it" and it fell is simply not credible. What really resulted from the collapse of that window shade was that we almost lost the next booking scheduled to depart two days later. It was saved after we spent the next afternoon disassembling both shades, firmly securing the frame into the top of the window, and reassembling the shades back into the frame. The locking mechanism for the outer sunshade is completely stripped, making it unserviceable, something that would have needed a strong hard yank to accomplish, not "just touching it."
6) The black and gray tank gauges: The black and gray monitors were correct, the renters were credited that the tanks were empty and were never charged a dumping fee.
7) The propane tank gauge: The LP monitor inside the RV correctly showed the tank was FULL. Federal safety regulations limit the amount of liquid propane to 80% of the tank's capacity to allow for the propane gas to expand or contract within the remaining 20%, so "full" is 80%. Viewed at just a slight angle on the tank gauge this can look like 3/4, but it's not. The gauge was correct.
8) The fuel level: The departure fuel level was agreed upon to be 3/4 tank and was so noted on the departure form, signed by Tanya. The RV returned with slightly over 3/4 tank, which was noted as the correct level on the return form. Had the return been at least as cordial as the departure, without being overwhelmed with so many other disagreements, some credit for the additional fuel level could quite possibly have been agreed upon.
9) Gouge in wall: The deep gouge in the corner of the wall across from the refrigerator was not present at the departure, but magically appeared upon the renters' return. Under the rental contract, the renters have the "sole responsibility" for the repair of the defect. Fortunately for them, the initial estimate obtained for repair of this damage was probably less than half of what the final cost will be.
10) Extra cleaning fee: The extra cleaning fee was $100.00, not $125.00, and was made necessary to cover the additional costs of having to add more cleaning crew for the interior along with the exterior detailing. We are certainly not getting rich off this, and we really hope that we never have to do it again. Our RV was clearly "trashed" inside and out when it was returned, but adding further details (Bug-encrusted front and sides, waste paper basket with a dark red substance, the base of the cabinet where the basket rested covered with discarded and rotting apple pieces, the bathroom sink covered with soap residue, a plastic bag filled with used feminine hygiene products stuffed onto a lower bathroom shelf next to rolls of toilet paper, etc., etc.) is not necessary at this point. We have made our case.

The owners were very responsive while booking the trip and responded while on the trip. Very nice people plus did a thorough job explaining everything before I took the RV for the weekend. RV was in immaculate condition! Thanks for saving my Mother's Day weekend!

We had a great time in this brand new motorhome. Very roomy and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely rent again!

Craig was fantastic. We are first timers and he explained everything. I would give them more starts if possible. The RV only had 8k miles, like new. Best road trip. Highly recommended.
