I was born and raised in Alaska and after serving in the Navy and going to school in Florida, I realized how good we have it up here and moved back home. I have a 5 year old son and bought my van as a way for us to enjoy family camping trips and instill my love of the outdoors in him. I'm also a former tour guide on the Alaska Railroad and love sharing information and tips in order to explore this beautiful state. Don't hesitate to ask me questions if you have them.

We put this van through the ringer on a 13-day road trip. It was raining most of the time so the awning and rooftop tent were essential. The van is very comfortable and comes with everything you need for camping. It’s pretty good on gas compared to a bigger van which was nice. Adam was flexible with pick up and drop off times, and was very responsive. We had a great time!

We had an amazing time in Adams van. Plenty of room for two of us to store all of our stuff and the tent on top is pretty spacious as well. He provided a lot of extra camping supplies for us and that was such a huge help for us to not have to pack extra gear. We loved being able to have an open itinerary and move around Alaska freely. Will definitely be recommending to this to any friends visiting in the future.

My wife and I rented out Adam’s camper van for 17 nights. The blow up mattress fit perfectly and we were glad pillows and a sleeping bag were included. We enjoyed cooking most meals with the provided camp kitchen setup. Our Alaskan adventure was complete with renting the baby beluga. Adam was super nice and easy to communicate with. We both appreciated his hospitality and recommend this ride for your Alaskan adventure.

We rented the rig for 8 days and Adam was very responsive and flexible on drop on/off times! Super easy to drive as well! Highly recommended for your Alaska trip!!!

We had a great experience traveling all around interior Alaska and the Kenai peninsula in the van! Pick up and drop off was made easy by Adam and the van was very clean, easy to drive, and comfortable. We got multiple compliments on the tent at every campsite that we went to and enjoyed it so much that we are considering one of our own. We would definitely rent this vehicle again on any return trips and would recommend it for an easy van-camping experience!

Adam's van was perfect for our Alaska roadtrip! The rooftop tent and awning were super easy to set up and all the gear provided was well taken care of. Adam was easy to communicate with and very attentive.

Owner is very friendly. We arrived almost midnight but he welcomed us and explained how to use tent. We have enough space although we have pretty big 3 suitcase. It is easy to drive this car but still have enough space to sleep for 3.

This was a great vehicle for our 4 day/3 night trip to Denali. Adam even threw in his cook table, 2 foldable chairs and the inflatable air mattress which was great when the temp dropped down to 25F in August on the first night. This van made it possible for all 4 of us to ride together without having to take separate cars. It drove without any problems, clean, full windows to look out of and we simply returned it when done without having to clean up. The top tent was easy to set up and has a 3" memory foam mattress; however, we put additional thermarest on top because the memory foam slowly compresses during the night. Adam was and excellent communicator, had all the paperwork completed and was a great guy to work with. I highly recommend this vehicle and owner.

I chose this camper van for our 2 1/2-week Alaska adventure because I had some concerns about driving a huge RV on some of the Alaska roads; plus, the RVs with the major companies were booked back to back, which didn't appeal to me during a national pandemic. Adam had promised me at least 24 hrs. of down time between bookings, which allows him plenty of time to do a thorough cleaning He also added a large Coho cooler, three very comfortable camp chairs, stove fuel, and bear spray...all items we could not bring on a plane when flying in from our home state. Adam was very accommodating and easy to work with. Included with his rental are a camp stove and table and a pump for the inflatable mattress he provided. While camping in Denali National Park for several days, we were the talk of Riley Creek campground because of the van's pop-up tent, which turned out to be a conversation starter with other campers. It rained constantly in Denali, so it was a great way to camp....i.e., up and off the ground. The tent fits two people, and the inflatable mattress for the back of the van can sleep one adult or two young children. The van drives like a car, so it's really easy to park and maneuver.
The only negative about our experience (besides the rain, which brought out mosquitoes) was Outdoorsy, which apparently is severely understaffed. When I had questions prior to the trip, I generally had an hour wait before a rep. was available for an online chat. One evening, I called Outdoorsy before starting dinner. While on hold, I cooked dinner and finished eating with my family before I finally hung up two hours later....tired of their recorded message and music. This was my first experience with Outdoorsy, so I don't know whether their poor customer service is normal for them or if it is due to the pandemic and possible layoffs. Either way, it was extremely frustrating. Too bad, because our experience with the van owner was positive, and our vacation was fun. Alaska was on my bucket list, and vacationing in the wilderness was ideal for social distancing.

We (2 peeps) had an awesome time visiting Alaska! Had plenty of space and comfort! The tent is roomy and the elevated view was so cool. We even slept very well on the air mattress within the van on the first night when we were too tired to set up fully. Adam is an awesome host. He went above and beyond for us. Thank you Adam!!! We can't wait to go back!

Our experience with Adam and his van was excellent. We had a great trip to Denali National Park and down to the Kenai peninsula area. We were able to pick up the van fairly near the airport/downtown. The van was easy to drive and the tent was easier to set up and take down than I had anticipated. The van was able to accommodate two adults, two teenagers, and one 9 year old and all their gear for a week of camping. We rotated who got to sleep in the top tent because it was everyone's favorite spot. We brought along an additional tent and used it too for our oldest. All the gear was clean (or new) and in great shape. We had everything we needed to get on the road and enjoy beautiful Alaska!

My family and I had the most incredible time in Adam’s adventure van which we named “The Mystery Machine”! Myself, husband and 2 younger sons were comfortable between the tent and air mattress in the van. It was very well equipped and just a fun little set up! We spent our days exploring the Kenai peninsula whether it was hiking, fishing or exploring fabulous little towns and would pull into one of the many rustic campgrounds in the area. Once we got the hang of it, set up and take down took 15-20 minutes for both tent and van sleeping accommodations. Adam’s communication was amazing and he was always extremely quick to respond and was very flexible and accommodating with pick up and drop off times. Thank you, Adam!
