As we have already shared, we are extremely sorry that you were so disappointed. We very much wanted you to enjoy your vacation and tried to address every complaint. We would like to record the facts in hope that it helps other renters:There was an unfortunate accident prior to the customer’s arrival in the pouring rain, where the support block failed under the main tongue and bent the jacks underneath the trailer. We were able to level it to the point all agreed it was fine, with the understanding that it would be repaired. Professional RV repairmen installed new jacks and leveled the camper the morning after the customer’s scheduled arrival date.
When the customer requested a cancellation, we made arrangements for a full refund upon pick-up of the trailer and Outdoorsy provided excellent customer service and support. When the customer decided to stay, we offered to come and personally address every complaint each time one was communicated.
The refrigerator was cleaned without odor upon the customer’s arrival and did not smell when opened after the customer’s departure. We attempted to schedule a time to come out to clean it again, but it was declined. We were not made aware of any issue with hot water. When we came to clean the trailer before hauling it after the customer’s departure, we used hot water.
In regards to the state of the camper, there is an 8 x 1” inch slice in the wall behind the bathroom door due to a previous mishap with one of the slide-ins. The trailer is five years old and so is the furniture. The trailer is not perfect; we rent it for significantly less a night than what is suggested because we want customers satisfied, which has been the case up until this point. The pictures are pictures of the trailer from my phone.I do not want to reflect negatively upon anyone. I know that you were sincere in your disappointment and we learned a lot in regards to the need to reflect more carefully the flaws of our camper. However, I also want other renters to know that we went through the camper with another set of customers the afternoon after your departure and they were pleased. They own two campers of their own and had no trouble signing the papers that state the camper is in complete working order except for a few cosmetic flaws.
