Originally from Los Angeles, the enticing outdoor adventure brought me to Alaska almost 14 years ago. But, it was the incredible ever changing vistas, the raw humbling nature, and the amazingly generous people made it impossible to leave. I have planted my roots here working as a Nurse, and I absolutely love to help others experience this spectacular and rare part of our planet, my home, Alaska. I rock and Ice climb, I horseback ride and ATV ride, I snow-machine and bike, I ice-skate and ski, I kayak, sail and paddle board, I fish and forage, I hike and camp, and I enjoy the many Microbreweries and delicious food you can find in any little town-even 90 miles off the main road. Jennifer was a phenomenal host! The Roaming Wolf was everything we needed for our adventurous trip through Alaska.

The RV was very nice and the extra goodies that Jennifer left for us were very nice. She did an excellent job with orienting us to the camper and giving information about places to visit. She even brought a Milepost magazine to us (but we had our own) which I thought was terrific. The camper tie downs became loose on our second day but we were able to fix it with instructions from Jennifer and after reviewing YouTube videos after we got cell service at the hotel we were staying at. Jennifer was very helpful with this. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the truck during the trip. Luckily, we were in cell service range and were able to contact Jennifer. We tried to contact Outdoorsy for roadside assistance but was met with a busy signal for six hours. Jennifer was able to contact an Outdoorsy rep to try to help but had problems also. A rep finally called up to tell us they were working on things but there was no follow up until the next day when they asked if anyone ever came. (No one did). Jennifer was able to contact AAA to resolve the issue with the camper.
Even though it was a holiday weekend, the lack of support from Outdoorsy, the inability to contact them (we never got past the busy signal from 1 pm to 7:30 pm) is horrible customer service. The people renting their vehicles through Outdoorsy are terrific people but the lack of infrastructure support from Outdoorsy would make me not recommend Outdoorsy to others. We were lucky that our host was able to resolve the issue through other means. I don't know what would have happened if we had to rely on Outdoorsy alone. Rating for Jennifer is 5 stars and for Outdoorsy is zero stars. Unfortunately, the truck is broken and a new one will be needed for this rental to be used in the future. So I hightly recommend the host but a new truck will be needed for future rentals.

From the 1st moment we had a good contact with Jennifer. Al our questions were answered and even more than that. When we said we would like to rent from time to time a mountainbike she said we could rent one for the whole period so they came with the RV. She gave some nice itineray tips. The hand over went smooth and off we went. When we were putting our private stuff in the cupboards we discovered a lot of Alaskan goodies which were highly appreciated. The RV was equipped with everything you could think of. We even didnt use all the towels, cleaning producs, toilet paper etc. that were provided,

The RV, while not new, fit in with the Alaskan landscape perfectly. It was tireless and rugged. It let us travel terrain that most cars would have faltered on. No towing or backing up. Just hit the road. Alaska is a huge, huge place, and it takes longer than you think to get anywhere. I loved not having to find my way home. When the fun was over, we just pulled off the road and slept for the night. There was never a problem finding a campsite. Jennifer and co. We’re a dream to work with. They were very responsive before and during our trip. We received a full lesson on the working of the Arctic Fox before taking off. This was really a great experience.

Absolutely phenomenal trip! Jennifer was the most amazing host ever. When our flight got canceled, she was incredibly flexible, ensuring our plans could still go ahead. Her truck camper is fantastic—handles extremely well on the road and is in incredible condition. My wife and I had an absolute blast, thanks to the flexibility and adventurous spirit the truck camper allowed. We highly recommend Jennifer and her amazing truck camper. We will most definitely be back for another adventure!

I had a perfect experience with Jennifer's camper. The communication was easy, the introduction was fast and thorrow, and the camper worked very well for me. I even got a little welcome package. Additionally, Jennifer was very flexible with the hand over timing - thank you for that.
All in all I had a perfect time with the camper in Alaska. I will for sure come again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip with the artic fox/dodge unit.
They had all the basics we needed, (paper plates, ziplocs ,bear spray, bug spray, to go coffee cups and kitchen items. They even included an adorable anniversary gift basket for us as it was our 10th wedding anniversary.
Also want to note it was super clean (which is very important to me)
It was fairly warm visit for us so we could have used few more hours on the generator to also charge phones and cool the unit off. But would not stop us from renting from them again.
Very friendly laid back and easy and o deal with couple!

We LOVED this camper. It was our first time doing a trip like this and this camper couldn’t have been more perfect for us. It was easier to drive than we anticipated (pretty much like driving a regular pickup truck), and it was great for both city and for off-road/camping/boondocking. Easy to park, easy to maneuver, and the bed and linens were luxuriously comfortable, better than most hotels we stay in. By the end of the trip it felt like our home and I even hugged it goodbye😂. Jennifer was wonderful too- responsive, dependable, knowledgeable, and thoughtful with the way the inside of the camper was outfitted and stocked.

Jennifer kept in touch with me and all my questions. The rig, "Roaming Wolf," was in great condition, like new. She taught us all about the rig and had an instruction manual that we referenced several times on the trip. It was clear and flowed easily. If you are wanting great experience, I recommend you go through Jennifer. She has two amazing rigs. Jennifer helped my wife and I create memories we will never forget. Thanks Jennifer.

A fantastic trip! Jennifer and Patrick were super nice and professional. Truck and camper in excellent condition with top of the line equipment. All aspects of truck and camper were explained and no question was unanswered. They really know their stuff and helpful in every aspect. Patrick help with a trip itinerary that got us to some beautiful places.
I highly recommend this package to anyone wanting to explore Alaska form the comfort of a quality vehicle/camper. We can’t wait to go back next year.

The Longhorn fox met our needs very well: comfortable, clean, stocked with amenities, and no worries about lodging which allows freedom to discover Alaska on your terms. Jennifer and Patrick provided us with trip planning information and a thorough walk through on operation of the vehicle and camping unit. Also included an easy-to-read manual of operating instructions. Highly recommend this vehicle and working with the owners. Visitors from SE Minnesota.
