The Good: The RV did its job and kept us warm during a cold trip to Mammoth. My kid loved the experience, and we appreciate Yamin sharing his vehicle.
The So-So: The RV shows significant wear and tear. Notable issues include an uncomfortable primary bed, a deflating air mattress, mismatched linens, and minor broken fixtures. More critically, the fridge and freezer failed to stay cold enough, spoiling some food. There was also a lingering odor from the toilet, and the black water sensor panel is broken.
The Bad (Be Aware): Expect unexpected upcharges at drop-off. Despite returning the RV exactly as agreed, the host met us with a calculator trying to find extra fees. He attempted to charge us $285 for a late drop-off we had already verbally cleared, tried to charge a dumping fee until we produced photo and receipt proof of our dump, and tacked on extra mileage fees for a direct trip to our stated destination. (Note: Bring your own disposable gloves for dumping).
To avoid bickering after an exhausting trip, we ultimately settled on a $150 Zelle payment just to leave. As first-time users, our advice is to get every agreement and potential fee in writing beforehand.

The comment regarding the primary bed is subjective. While RV mattresses are different from hotel beds, many guests have found the bed comfortable and suitable for their trips. The linens provided were clean and fully suitable for use. Matching linens are a matter of personal preference. There were no minor broken fixtures. According to the most recent inspection report, all fixtures and tank sensors were fully intact and functioning with no signs of damage or leakage. The fridge and freezer were fully functional. No shore power was used and the generator was not operated, resulting in full battery depletion and loss of cooling, which is not a malfunction but a power management issue during the trip. There were no unexpected charges. All fees were consistent with the listing terms, including mileage and late return policies. No separate agreement is required beyond booking terms. Regarding dumping, no receipt was requested; evidence showed tanks were not fully emptied at return.

Host is detail oriented and spent 40 minutes doing an intro and walk around. I have never driven an RV and the host made it simple. On the trip I had a few questions and host was helpful and explained everything. This RV is easy to drive and the folks at any RV spot will help you park. I would rent this RV again.

I could not have had a better experience with Yamin. He was extremely helpful. This was a very last Minute trip for my son‘s 21st birthday that almost didn’t happen if we couldn’t find an RV the RV was in perfect condition very comfortable for our group very clean. I could not ask for a better experience.

It was a great trip with a great camper. This camper is great. Everything you need is there. Yamin is also a perfect host, he explains everything well, if there are questions during the trip he answers them really fast as well! We had a great trip!

Amazing trip with this RV! Yamin and Mason were very communicative and responsive to our needs and the camper was very clean. We had everything we needed and we made memories of a lifetime from Joshua Tree! Would highly recommend.

I had a great trip. Mason was very responsive before the trip to answer any questions I had. On the day I picked up the RV, he gave me a walk through to make sure I know how to operate the RV. It was clean and ready to go. The RV drove great and my wife and kids had a blast at Joshua Trees. I would definitely rent from Mason again.
