Currently we have a 2023 Winnebago Revel, our affectionate name for this beautiful vehicle is Thing2. We enjoyed our rental of this camper, which is very well equipped for off-grid use. It’s easy and fun to drive, and all the major systems worked without any problems. Michael was very helpful, responding to our many questions before the rental and giving a thorough walkthrough before we started the trip. The return was hassle-free.

We had a wonderful time on our trip with Thing 2!
The van was everything we could have hoped it would be and Michael was incredibly helpful. My 2 biggest concerns when my husband suggested this trip were if the bed would be comfortable enough to at least get some sleep and how easy it would be to use the bathroom/toilet. I can honestly say that we slept great and the bathroom/toilet was easy to use and roomy enough to feel comfortable.

Let me start by saying the tour with Michael is worth ALL the hype! What an amazing host. Any questions I had were answered as fast as I could ask them. Thing2 took us from New England to Central Lake Michigan and back without issues. The drive was easier than it seems and super comfortable. Plenty of space for 2 without space issues. Camping was so peaceful that we forgot to break out the technology to take some pics. I’m going to plan the next trip around what we can do with Thing2 because it’s very capable. Good times!!!

Amazing winter vanlife experience in Thing2!!! We (2 adults & dog) did a week-long snowboarding trip from CT to ME, and it was great to have the van as our basecamp & lodge. We were warm & comfortable despite freezing temps outside, and had enough space for all our gear. Michael did a great walk-through of the systems when we picked up & was responsive and helpful throughout the trip - highly recommend.

Michael was a great host. He did superb explaining how to use his RV and he accommodated our pick up and drop off needs. The size of the RV was well suited to our needs, and we had a very enjoyable trip around New England. We are glad that we chose Michael's RV for our adventure. Thank you, Michael.

Very nice and very accommodating! Michael is an excellent host. This was our second time renting Thing 2 from Michael, and it could not have been better. This vehicle was spotlessly clean inside and out when we arrived. Michael is intimately familiar with the vehicles systems and does a great job explaining how everything works. We look forward to coming back again and we would highly recommend both Michael as a host and Thing 2 as a Van/RV/Life machine!! It's an incredible experience.

We had the absolute best trip! Thing2 is really comfortable and incredibly easy to drive for a van. Michael is a wonderful host and I'd absolutely rent from him again. Seriously, this is probably the best way to see New Englan!

We are considering purchasing a Revel similar to the one owned by Michael and wanted to check it out to see how it feels in use. We had a great experience! We picked it up and traveled for three days around Connecticut. Overall, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. The van was sparkling clean, well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There is a lot of information available about the Revel’s excellent on- and off-road performance and its ability to camp off-grid in comfort — and it truly lived up to the hype. The battery life was impressive, and there was plenty of power when needed. Michael was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. He gave us a thorough tour and helpful instructions before we left, along with valuable insights from his own experience. We’re definitely looking forward to reserving again in the future and highly recommend this experience to others.
