This all started to support my photography habit. I had outgrown my motorcycle as my mode of exploration for my longer trips with a gear bag that could not be locked onto my bike. My van became my literal home on the road and it allowed me to overnight in spots that I could not put a tent. My first van was simple and designed to support my needs but as my wife warmed to the idea of roadtrips a bigger van with some major creature comfort upgrades were needed. Welcome to Murphy, this is the result.

Murphy was the perfect companion for exploring western Oregon. He kept us comfortable with everything we needed to camp with or without hookups. The bed was warm and cozy. All the little things we needed were already thought of and provided, so we could just focus on exploring the natural beauty. He was small enough to maneuver back roads but roomy enough inside to keep two adults and our things accessible for two weeks on the road.
Matt was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had as we learned how to operate the systems. He also has an amazing photography studio at the pickup/drop-off site that you should take time to visit. He has captured many of the beautiful landscapes of Oregon and other places around the world.
We highly recommend renting Murphy for your adventures!

Van was perfect for our road trip. Everything worked well and it was awesome having a shower and toilet. Van was in excellent shape - clean and well stocked with everything we needed to have a great trip. Matt was awesome - he walked us through all of the features of the van and made himself available while on the trip, even though we didn't need to contact him because everything worked so well. We are already thinking about our next trip to Oregon and we will certainly rent this van again. Thanks Matt!!

We traveled along the Columbia through the gorge, the up through Sisters and the National Forest, and then over to 101 and up the coast. The van was as great as the listing suggests. Matt was great to work with as well. I had one small complaint - the mattress was a little thin for my liking. However, my wife didn’t mind it at all. Will would gladly rent this rig from Matt again.

Murphy is a perfect adventure van! Matt is incredibly kind, spending plenty of time with us at pickup and provided all the information we needed for a great trip. Murphy has everything you’ll need and so many nice luxuries, like a hot shower, toilet, roof deck, chairs, fire pit. We made all our meals in the van and we found the kitchen well equipped. The layout is perfect for two, being able to lift the bed out of the way was helpful. We’ll use ideas from Murphy when we build our own!! Thanks Matt!

Matt was so easy to communicate with from pick up, to guidance during our trip, to drop off! Absolutely worth it if you’re looking for a comfortable solution for any road trip with all the needed amenities.

Van was exactly what we needed for a week long exploration from Mt Hood to the coast. Owner thought of everything we needed - from cookware to bedding to bear spray; we even used the projector system on a couple rainy nights. Owner was very accommodating and responsive to our questions while on the road. Lovely trip!

We had a WONDERFUL experience exploring and camping in this beautiful van. It is so clean and equipped with everything you could need. Matt was an amazing host… so friendly, great communicator and available to help and answer any questions we had. He even gave us tips of places to see. Thank you so much, Matt for making this experience even better than we could have hoped for. I honestly can’t say enough about the overall experience! Do not hesitate to choose this van. You will not be disappointed.
