Dual seemed like a nice man and he communicated well, but he was ill prepared to rent out his rv. As there were no prior reviews for us to go off of, we'd like to provide our feedback for all future potential renters. The rv was filthy. When we arrived to pick it up and saw the condition, my wife began to clean it to the best of her ability before even allowing our children on. Dust, dirty counters/tabletops and stained dirty carpet. The bathroom was so disgusting that we didn't even bother trying to clean it and were resolved to utilize the bathroom facilities where we camped for showering/toilets. The water was also a huge issue. Thankfully I asked about it before we departed and was told that the water was not suited for drinking as it had not been flushed out and freshly refilled in some time. What I was not told was that we weren't even able to safely wash our hands, let alone our dishes in the water. My wife and daughter washed their hands shortly after we departed and their hands began to burn instantly because of the concentrated septic cleaner within the water; the chemical smell was awful. This detail is especially concerning, because if I wouldn't have asked and someone would have drank the water, they could have became seriously ill. The rv got us from point a to point b and back with no mechanical issues, provided us a place to sleep and AC in the heat of the day, but it was absolutely not worth what we paid. It is our hope that the owner take this review in stride and resolves these issues in consideration of future renters. If so, this rv has potential and would be worth the nightly rate.
