Hi I am Tim, an avid Alaskan outdoorsman who climbs mountain bikes fishes kayaks hikes runs hunts and gardens. I love sleeping in a tent a bivouac or camping along the roads of Alaska in my Westy. My favorite road trip is the Seward Homer Fairbanks and Valdez circuit which I have guided tourists well before offering my overland truck on Outdoorsy. I have worked in the outdoors with troubled youth for most of my career teaching backcountry skills of the Alaskan wilds.

We had absolutely everything we needed for our 4 weeks trip!
Tim is a very helpful and easygoing Owner that prepares the truck specially for your needs!
We can only reccomend it!

Tim is the most wonderful host! We had some unforeseen problems with the car, but Tim fixed it right away so we could continue our trip as soon as possible.
Classic is a great car and perfect for your roadtrip in Alaska! Besides preparing the vehicle Tim also provided us tips for our trip which was very helpful. All in all I would highly recommend Classic!

Tim was excellent to work with and had everything set up and ready to go for our trip. He supplied all of the camping equipment that we needed (i.e. sleeping bags, pots/pans, silverware, dish soap, etc.) and the truck tent was very easy to work, taking under 10 minutes to set up and take down. I would highly recommend renting this vehicle and hope to do so again myself!

Camping in this rig was one of the highlights of my trip. Tim is a great host and was very helpful before and after my trip. The truck handles very well and the tent was comfortable to sleep in. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Tim again if I'm ever back in the area!

Tim was an awesome host, very passionate and knowledgeable of the outdoors. The truck setup with the camper worked flawlessly for our trip and I couldn’t recommend this rig or the host enough!

Tim is an extremely helpful and well informed host. Think of Tim as a Guide, of the kind you would normally need to pay, whose expertise comes for free with the cool truck that you're renting.The truck is versatile and well-equipped with everything you need to camp. You just need clothes, food and a sleeping bag. The truck is nimble (versus a giant SUV or lumbering camper) has a great suspension, handles well, and performed without a hiccup for two weeks. It's also discreet compared to more conspicuous modern rigs. It's a '92, so it's not a hot rod, but it's a great machine and a pleasure to drive.
