Hello, I'm Lina! My interests revolve around the outdoors, travel, and capturing moments through photography. Originally from Oregon, I've spent time exploring the trails in the Pacific Northwest, from Crater Lake National Park to Lake Chelan and the Wenatchee Forest. Hiking is a favorite pastime, and I also enjoy fishing, and snowboarding when the opportunity arises enjoying the good views! Beyond Oregon, I've ventured to various destinations, experiencing different landscapes and cultures. Through my lens, I aim to document the places I visit. My first time using a camper van. We had a great time, stayed in Tillamook at Bay City RV off the host’s recommendation and used that as our base. Super convenient way to travel, we paid extra for the chairs and cooler and it was well worth it to make dinner and breakfast.
It’s no frills, but that’s what it’s supposed to be. The blinkers weren’t working. We were given the option to take it to valvoline but had such a jam packed weekend, we went old school and used hand signals! Suspension and brakes work great for a van of that age and mileage.
Pick up and drop off were easy.

It was a great time! A video tour that is sent prior might be helpful to go through everything. There are a lot of nooks and crannies I wasn’t sure if those drawers and cabinets opened or were supposed to stay shut. The vehicle is older and the maintenance light turned on once, but it was a safe drive. The owner was very responsive and accommodating.

Lina and Jake are phenomenal hosts! Not only is the chevy astro an awesome rig with everything needed for a great van life experience, its also like a home on wheels. The mattress was super comfy, fitted with brand new bedding and was very easy to maneuver between its couch and bed functionalities. Lina and Jake also provided everything I could have needed for my big 3.5 week adventure through the Glacier, Waterton Lakes, Kootenay, Banff, Yoho, Jasper, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks. The van was stocked with cookware, pots and pans, disposable cups and utensils, instant coffee, trash bags, two coolers (tacked one on with added charge), camping chairs, a coleman cooktop, and a jackery generator (cooktop and generator were absolute game changes for my trip).

General Condition of the interior was great. The Host could have been more detailed with instructions to use the various amenities in the vans instead of the user asking questions all the time. Battery operated lights were dim or not turning on probably due to weak batteries. Couldn’t be bothered to get batteries in the end and used the same table lamp provided mostly.

Had an amazing time was able to travel far and wide and wouldn’t trade my experience for anything!! Lina was great, very communicative. Unfortunately the van wasn’t my favorite part. It drove poorly kind of hard to keep straight, a couple lights came on which I know aren’t a big deal but the fact that they’re on is never a good thing, not very clean, and lastly my biggest problem was the van has nooo window covers. I was given one for the front window which, out of all the windows, needed to be covered the least. Had to shove towels and whatever else into the doors at night so people around me couldn’t see my sleeping! Again very grateful to have touched the PNW for the first time but van could use some tlc right now! Thank you for making my dream come true!!

Great little camper van to explore in! We had originally booked a different van but got switched to this one last minute because of mechanical issues. It has a pretty thin twin mattress and a pump sink and a portable camper stove but that’s all you need to have a good time. The fairy lights didn’t work unfortunately and we even tried replacing the batteries. There was no pots or pans but the host told us to buy some and reimbursed us. I assume some of these things might have been overlooked due to the quick turnaround time from our change in plans.

We had a very fun trip to the PNW. The size of the van was good for the amount of things we bought and it was able to handle all of the driving. The reason for only 4 stars is that there was no cooler that I had paid additional for (i was reimbursed) and the van was not fully cleaned before we got it. There was still trash in the trashcan and food in the sink and side doors. Despite this we had an excellent trip and we highly recommend

The host was wonderful. Responsive, flexible, and friendly. The van on the other hand was pretty rough. It is a very low roof. You cannot sit up straight when sitting on the bed so it was quite uncomfortable for anything except sleeping. The mattress was thin and made of a few separate sections that made it uncomfortable. The photos make the van build look a lot better than it actually is. The interior was not clean. There was an overwhelming smell of citronella. It was raining as I drove out to the coast and it started leaking through the back door an/or the roof vent and was dripping down onto the bed, floor, and countertop. There was a brake light out. The ABS light came on a couple times throughout my trip and then at the end it started making a screeching sound when accelerating. Overall, the van needs some TLC. Thank you.

They were super helpful with any questions and the Van never skipped a beat ! it did awesome on gas and was comfortable to sleep in
