My wife and I decided to travel all over Alaska as we have been to the state multiple times. We decided to rent a small luxury van through Outdoorsy and were not disappointed. We decided to go with Jeb because of the location in Anchorage and our hosts were willing to pick us up from the airport. Our hosts Jessicah and Doug were amazing! They went over all of Jeb's components and ensured we had anything we would need. The best part about the trip was they had left us a book with amazing places to check out. On this trip, we didn't plan a lot and were so grateful to have a guide book especially when plans didn't work out. We were going to Denali but it was rainy and because of their amazing book, we decided to go to Valdivia instead. We drove Jeb all over and he never let us down. He is an older vehicle but for the price, he is well worth it. Best Trip Ever! Thanks, Jessicah, Doug, and Jeb!

We had a very disappointing experience. The camper van had multiple issues during our trip, including a significant one where a water pipe broke and leaked inside the van, forcing us to spend valuable time driving back to meet the host at their house for repairs in the middle of our trip. This setback disrupted our plans and took away from our vacation time. To add insult to injury, the host then charged us for the "extra mileage" we drove which occurred due to their camper van breaking down and the subsequent drive back to the hosts house to get it fixed, which is unfair since it was their responsibility to provide a properly functioning vehicle. There were other issues including a piece on the roof of the van flying off during our drive, and the hot water not working for several days on the trip. Overall, the rental fell short of expectations, the host mistreated us by unjustly extracting money out of us after the trip, and we were left feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

This renter currently is under review with Outdoorsy. After the trip, they are now trying to receive a refund for items against the contract; a night, mileage, gasoline. During the stay, these renters were polite, and never brought to us an issue that they wished to have a refund on. Everything was resolved during the stay including a quick fix on JEB's hot water cap as they were coming through Anchorage to head to Denali anyway-Yes, JEB is old but with kindess and patience he will get you anywhere. They verbally agreed all was well during the check out process, agreed to the mileage, and as we submitted/completed the return and got our keys back we wished them well & happy travels. Sadly, there are people out there like this that like to attack after-the-fact. My advice is this: Read everything carefully; it's all in the listing, the contract, and Outdoorsy. Communication is important; we go above and beyond to help resolve any issues and refunds during the stay and strive to keep our guests happy!

The hosts were full service friendly and helpful. They ensured that I was comfortable before I took off, the Van was full service! everything you would need and more. Jeb is old, but well loved

So we booked Jeb for our anniversary trip to Alaska and we could not have been happier with our selection. First off, Doug and Jess were absolutely incredible hosts. They provided so much information when we arrived and pointed out great areas to check out on our trip. Jeb comes with a binder of all the information you need on the van and a map. The van is older but it has so much charm and they've updated and taken care of it so much. The bed is ESPECIALLY cozy and the toilet is so convenient to have. We actually ran into an issue shortly after picking up Jeb and Doug and Jess immediately came out and helped us. They bent over backwards helping get it resolved and made sure we had a really great trip. I cannot recommend renting this van enough. You won't regret it.

This was an amazing experience. My husband and I rented JEB for a week trip around Alaska. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and very helpful and JEB was perfect. The van had everything we needed to feel like we were camping without having to sleep on the ground in a tent. Plus JEB isn't to big so he could easily be driven around the cities. Alaska is absolutely gorgeous, we will definitely be back, and will definitely be rent JEB again in the future!!

Really great time! My partner and I explored anchorage, Denali, Seward, and Matanuska in Jeb. The van was warm in the nights and not too hot in the daytime, and there were no problems or difficulties driving it. Plenty of storage space, comfortable bed and seats, and we cooked almost all of our meals in the small kitchen. Cheaper than anything else I could find, and there Doug handled everything smoothly on his end. If you’re unsure about this van, or Alaska in general, I can promise you will have an amazing time :)
