I live in Kauai and have run vans here on Hawaii and in California for 10 years; I am a former Nat Geo producer who loves to travel the world and see all the glorious gifts nature has to offer by getting off the grid in Alaska, Kauai, Bali, Australia and more! I enjoy SCUBA, hiking and of course camping in California and Kauai...I own and operate a Dodge Ram Van custom painted by famous surf board / van mural artist Drew Brophy.

Stephanie was an OUTSTANDING host. She was so helpful whether it was activity, beaches, or food recommendations. She always went the extra mile to helping us if we were troubleshooting with anything. She helped make our vacation run smoothly. This was my first time using this platform and I couldn't have asked for a better experience/host!

Calling all adventurers!! This is such a great way to slow down and really take in Kauai. Steph's camper van is homey, comfy, and completely unique. Plenty of storage space for all your belongings; move-in and get organized with all the overhead cupboards and leave your luggage under the bed. Speaking of the bed...we had our best night's sleep on the mattress of this van. Park on the beach, open the rear doors and let the ocean lure you to dreamland while the Tradewinds keep you cool...no need for AC as the cross breeze is absolutely perfect. But while driving, this van cranks the AC to your desired level for added comfort. Hit up the local grocery stores and grab some dinner - the kitchen is well equipped with all your cooking needs, and the stovetop propane cooker is easy to light and maintain. I highly recommend parking at Kumu Camp for your stay. This van parks well down there, the locals and management are friendly, and the beach has fun waves to play in. If you're looking for a unique way to experience Kauai and want to have some unforgettable memories, we highly recommend booking Steph's van for the trip of a lifetime!!! :)

This was the perfect way to get around the island! The tents popped up in seconds and all the accommodations really made camping this week easy !

The bed was very comfortable. It had all cooking items needed. The power bank worked well. Van got great gas mileage and Host was so helpful!!

We had the NaPali Van for 4 nights and explored most of the island. It was a beautiful adventure, the process was easy and Stephanie’s help with everything was amazing too. She provided a folder with highlights and suggestions, which was super convenient. She’s also easy to reach out to and helps you out any time.
The van is beautiful but be aware that it’s an old vehicle. We were a bit worried to break something and that made us feel a little bit anxious.
The bed also was a bit too small for two people & my 6,2ft boyfriend had problems sleeping. Everything you need is provided; cooking oil, soap, dishes but the spices were the bare minimum. There were some old pepper packages & almost no salt. Be aware that on the campsite are homeless people around, that made us feel a bit uncomfortable too. All in all, it was probably the best way to explore the island and we loved our time in Kauai a lot!

Just awesome ! We had fantastic holidays in this rv, is exactly what you want, in great condition , amazing panoramic views , great bed , and really has everything that you need. Also I couldn’t recommend more renting from Stephanie! She is so professional and communication was great! Thanks!
